Stayed Jan 19, 2026I had an incredible stay at the Entire Cottage Starkville Conveniently Located. This place is exactly what you hope for when booking a getaway in Starkville spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing visit. The cottage feels welcoming the moment you walk in. Everything was clean, well maintained, and stocked with the essentials. The layout is cozy without feeling cramped, and the décor gives it that “home away from home” vibe that’s hard to find. The bed was comfortable, the Wi‑Fi was strong, and the whole space was quiet and peaceful perfect for unwinding after a long day. The location is a huge win. It’s close to Mississippi State University, restaurants, shopping, and all the local spots, but still tucked away enough to feel private. Getting around town was quick and easy. The host clearly cares about the guest experience. Communication was smooth, checkin was simple, and every detail felt intentional. If you’re coming to Starkville for a game, a visit, or just a comfortable place to stay, this cottage is an excellent choice. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Stayed Aug 6, 2024We thought it was a shed at first, but turned out to be a great little space that was very quiet and provided quick access to the things we were in town for. The owners were very nice and accommodating.

Stayed Aug 13, 2025This is a cozy place which met my needs for the week. It was clean and the bed was good. It was nice to have a washer/dryer. The bathroom is tight but fine for one person. I left very early every day but one. That day, I could hear the speaker system for the drive through behind the building. It didn't bother me, but someone trying to sleep late might not be happy. All in all, it was more than adequate.

Stayed May 2, 2025I almost don't want to brag on this place too much because I don't want it to be booked up and have to stay anywhere else! It’s the best place to stay in Starkville! I stayed for the weekend and walked into downtown one morning and it’s close to drive anywhere in town as well. The place is always very clean, cool, and smells great! Having a full fridge, washer, and dryer is a huge help. I have always had excellent communication with the hosts and Rose is so sweet! If I ever need anything during my stay, they reply quickly and always do everything in their power to help you out. They're very interactive and do far more than most to make sure your stay is wonderful! I can't say enough great things about this place and the owners!

Stayed Oct 3, 2024My wife and I stayed in this cottage for a couple of nights while in town to see my son. The cottage felt larger on the inside than we expected from the pictures in the listing. The bed, the furniture, everything was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The hosts thought of touches that we don't always see in these kinds of rentals, such as coffee pods, spray starch available for the iron, toiletries like cotton swabs, a manicure set, a sewing kit, etc. We only communicated by email, but their response time was always very, very fast. It was a quiet setting, although during school pick up and drop off times, traffic was pretty crazy getting into their neighborhood. That was a minor inconvenience, though, and it was very close to campus. We would certainly have this place on our list for return stays. Thank you, Rose!

Stayed Sep 6, 2024I've stayed here quite a few times and it never fails to be a perfect stay! I almost don't want to leave a review because I don't want to share this gem with anyone else! But I highly recommend this place for a clean, quiet, and safe place to stay. It's close to pretty much anything in the city, the cottage is exactly as advertised, and the communication with the owners is always exceptional!

Stayed Jun 10, 2024Its wonderful to have a housing option other than a hotel. Hotel prices are too high for a town the size of Starkville, even though it has a University here. The Blue Bird Cottage was wonderful. It exceeded my expectations. Even though I wasn't there much because of work. It's private. Has any necessities you could possibly need; and then some. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
