Stayed Aug 25, 2025Clean house and great neighborhood. We were told the beaches were dog friendly and they are not. That was quite disappointing as we had brought our pup with us and that’s why we booked in this area. Great neighborhood and restaurants within walking.

Stayed Aug 10, 2025Beautiful area with a great hometown feel. The furniture could use some updating, but the house was clean. I absolutely loved the screened in porch. Vacasa was extremely helpful and helped with the few issues we had. I would return.

Stayed Jul 20, 2025This is a nice place at a good price but bring your extras if you have to have them. The kitchen situation is minimal. If you dine out more no problem. We made a crockpot dinner one night( brought from home)and found two pans for making sides. There is a very nice skillet for breakfast but one big and one small perfect for one fried egg. 2 Small coffee cups. A set of dishes for 6. Silverware and cooking utensils are there. You’re not making Thanksgiving here but you’ll get by with making dinner. Lots of reviews mention a smell. When we first got there the air conditioning units were off. And a musty smell lingered. We think it’s because the units continuous run. Once we got them going there was no smell. They keep the house more than comfortable. They have fans. The place is clean. The furniture is old but the beds are comfy. Plenty of towels. Parking is close to the street and planter’s block you from driving up closer to the porch for unloading due to the septic system being here. But the walk isn’t bad. The porch was great, the neighborhood too, close to beaches and restaurants. Union Pier Social became a new favorite. We ride e-bikes and there is so much to explore from this location. Dog friendly! We have an old man and he loved it. The back door is just a step down for him and at the end of the street is a path with encouragement to walk though to a perfect loop for a potty walk. We will rent again. 2 adults one dog.

Stayed Sep 20, 2024The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. The screened in porch was a great place to enjoy the evenings without insects and the entire place was well maintained. The remodel and upgraded appliances really gave a modern feel to the rustic knotty pine paneling. We’ll definitely stay again in the future.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We traveled w 2 toddlers. Everything is kinda grungy, but it worked out just fine. Loved the neighbors and it’s a 10-15 min walk to the beach and walking distance to delicious food.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Loved this area and home. Beautiful, clean little beach within walking distance but with no bathroom, so we ended up driving most of the time. Can walk to the cute little town of Union Pier. Nice area and neighbors. Home had almost everything we needed, was very clean and cozy.
