Enchanted Hideaway, Hot tub, Walk to Main St!

This was one of our favorite rentals. Very close to town, looks like new, spacious and great private patio with hot tub and fireplace. Will come back here again!

Beautiful and fantastic location

We have stayed at many B&B/VRBOs but this was the worst. Seemed great until we went to bed. Sheets smelled musty; woke with itching and a rash and could not go back to sleep. Killed a cockroach in the morning. Tried to leave a msg but no answering service. No Kcup coffee maker for our coffee. Their coffee was not good and we had no creamer. No bottled water either. Got through to their service and reported the issue. Sheets were changed but stilled smelled. Got creamer but no Kcup or water. I requested a one night refund but was refused. Owner never checked with us about my rash. Itching continued and I could not sleep 2nd night. Still have the rash at this time 4 days later.

The place was clean inside, but the patio and shower areas need cleaning and painting, and all cobwebs removed.

Booked this for a weekend getaway, and excited about the great listing and how close to town it was. Check in was super easy, we found it easily and were able to walk right in. Very clean and nice decor like the listing. The furnishings were comfortable and a nice layout. Big bathroom and easy access to private courtyard. Immediately thought oh, we’ll be back but upon checkout agreed we would not. Things to know - the WiFi barely worked. That means the tv didn’t work - the entire stay. We did message the hosts and they were quick to reply that there was an outage in the area, but we did not have internet the majority of the stay. We did read in reviews about loud noises but weren’t prepared for how disruptive the noise would be. The house is a couple blocks from town but right off a commercial road with a lot of noise. Friday morning at 630a we were woken up by the sound of the trash pick up. Saturday, the parking lot next door was being re-tarred and re-surfaced, and the noise coming from all the machines/engines was just terrible. Sunday morning at 6a the church bells next door started tolling. And again at 7a and again at 8a. And we like church bells but we were woken up early every morning on a weekend we really just wanted to sleep in. The private courtyard is nice and private and the hot tub was easy to use. However it was dirty. The chairs are stained and there was debris and dirt all over the patio. No broom. Just an overall disappointment.

Very clean. Great location. Patio was amazing. Wood supplied for the outdoor fireplace. The lay out was inconvenient for changing clothes. The remote for the indoor fireplace was broke. There were no steps to get into the hot tub, not a safe way to get in and out. There was no slip resistant rug exiting to the patio, it was very slippery. Ive stayed at many air b&b's in Fredericksburg, there are many others that offer just as many amenities or more at a better price. For the price I paid, i expected more.

Very nice accommodation. We had some difficulties getting tvs to function but property manager was prompt to address. We were unfortunately unable to make use of the beautiful outdoor space due to weather and fire ban. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would book this accommodation again.

Place was super clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, gas fireplace, and location was perfect. Breakfast at Hill and Vine was delicious and right across the street.

The Enchanted Hideaway was a perfect place for us to stay. The location was great. The outside sitting was nice and very private. The bathroom was amazing. It is a perfect place for a couple. I wish it had another mirror in the house to use to get ready.

My Wife and I love this property. Easy to walk to Main Street and super secluded. Close to very good Food and Coffee! We would highly recommend the Enchanted Hideaway!

Nice location. Very clean. No extra toilet paper. A little noisy at times. But great location. The sofa was not comfortable.

The property is all it is advertised. Clean, close to town and we love the hot tub. We highly recommend this place.

Truly as advertised! Fantastic location and incredibly comfortable for a couple!! We loved it and will be repeat guests for sure.

The unit was very nicely decorated and efficient. Welcoming. Clean. Will reserve again! Only problem: check-in and checkout times very limiting…checkin should be earlier, 2:30pm and checkout, 12:00 0pm. Reason for current check-in/checkout polices given was “COVID CLEANING”. When does COVID stopped being blamed??
