Stayed Jul 18, 2025This little house has very well equipped kitchenette and is pretty convenient for two people. The bed was mentioned by some reviewers, still has some cavity, which is more or less compensated by mattress topper. We had a problem running out of propane, which wasn't fixed until our third day, but we understood it being weekend the response depended on local maintenance schedule. All in all it's a good place to stay, close to everything you might be looking for at Cape.

Stayed Aug 1, 2025check-in was frustrating. No ability to talk to owner to ask questions and Vasca was not very responsive. Property was ridiculously dirty, Vrbo said that they would send a cleaning crew - never did. The whole unit was dark - dingy - bugs, dirt, etc. only able to open two window - there was a third but between the window pane and screen were so many dead bugs and dirt couldn't open it - tooooooo gross to clean. A/c unusable - beyond dust and dirt in the unit.

Stayed Aug 8, 2025The property was a decent old cottage in the Cape. The bed could use an update and the cleaners could do a better job as there was a multitude of spiders and spider webs upon arrival.

Stayed Jul 26, 2025Pros: The cottage is charming. We didn’t use them but were supplied with clean towels. Kitchen had anything you’d need. The couch was fairly comfortable and the tv was good. The outside had a patio table and a nice view. The neighbor across the way was a very nice gentleman who let us know he could help us with anything we needed. The cottage is in a convenient spot with everything only minutes away. Some reviews had said how it was right off the highway and very loud but honestly we didn’t hear much and were not bothered by itCons:The bed wasn’t ideal. It was ok but had collapsed in the middle which made snoozing with a partner very uncomfortable. It also made awful squeaking noises at any little move. The place needs a deep clean and some insulation. There were cracks in the wall which led to ants with pupae coming in. They were not attracted to any food as we had kept the place clean and food away. Instead they seemed to just be battling each other on the ceiling & floor. Dead ants were literally falling from the sky. The place had provided glue traps & as the ants fell we just swept them onto them. The next morning thankfully they were mostly gone. We saw multiple through cracks in the walls, ceiling,& on the front door. The listing mentions internet and is a router in the photos but didn’t see it & we couldn’t connect to anything. There were cracks in the shower&the pressure was bad. Not a dream rental but I think with a bit more love it could be a really nice spot

Stayed Jul 26, 2025Pros: The cottage itself is charming. Though we didn’t use them we were supplied with clean towels. Kitchen had everything you’d need. The couch was comfortable and the tv was good. The outside of the property was cute with a patio table and a nice little view down the path. And the neighbor across the way was a very nice gentleman who let us know he could help us with anything we needed. The cottage is located in a good spot right off route 6 with everything you need just minutes away. Some reviews had mentioned how it was right off the highway and very loud but honestly we didn’t hear much at all and were not bothered by it. Cons: The bed, as mentioned by others, wasn’t ideal. It was comfortable enough but had collapsed in the middle which made snoozing with a partner a little uncomfortable. It also made an awful squeaking noise at any little toss or turn. The AC was quite loud and needed a new filter. The place in general would do well with a deep clean and some insulation work. The AC had paper towels stuffed under it. On the third night we awoke to quite literally hundreds of ants falling from the ceiling with their pupae. They were not attracted to any food as we had kept the place clean and food away and instead they seemed to just be battling each other on the ceiling and the floor. Dead ants were literally falling from the sky. The cottage had provided glue traps and as the ants fell we just swept them onto the traps. By the next morning thankfully they were mostly done and gone. We noticed multiple cracks in the walls, ceiling, and on the front door which you could see the light from outside coming in. I think a few sprays of crack filler would help. The listing mentions internet access and there’s a router in the photos but there was no router and we couldn’t connect to anything. The only other complaint would be the shower. There were cracks in the shower wall and the caulking was peeling. The shower head was also a little odd and had weird pressure. Not a dream rental but I think with a bit more love it could be a really nice spot

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Nice cottage in a great part of the cape for beaches, access to Ptown, etc. The lot overlooks but doesn't really allow quick access to the water, too much marsh plant to get through. Kitchen was well stocked, bathroom was clean, AC worked, wifi was speedy. The bed was collapsed in the middle, I suggest replacement. Google maps sent us on Old Pine Hollow Rd which is a tiny dirt trail, there is better access through the unnamed U-shaped road off route 6
