We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and found everything to be exactly as advertised. The hosts were readily available if needed from first day to last, and made us feel very much at home. All directions/instructions relating to our stay left nothing to the imagination or guesswork, and we found nothing more that we needed other than the essentials we brought with or that were supplied at the residence itself. The location was also perfect, nestled in a wooded setting and within walking distance of downtown Galena as well as a short drive to our business in Dubuque. Finally, all of the above at a very reasonable cost. Would definitely return.

The check in and check out process was super easy. The location was either a 12 minute walk or an easy 3 min car ride to downtown Galena. The cottage was clean and inviting. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. There were multiple streaming apps that we could choose movies and shows from. A great place to stay when wanting to visit Galena.

Very clean and very quiet neighborhood. Very spacious. It is an older home but has everything you need for your stay. Nice yard for a dog. If you enjoy exercise and walking to Main Street and back, it is a great workout with the hills going back.

This was a great little house in Galena. It was an easy walk to the main shopping. I would highly recommend the house.

Came to Galena for a wedding .The home owner responds promptly to messages. The house is walking distance to downtown. Dog friendly and spacious for 4 to 6 adults and our pups. Enjoyed our stay.

Great house for a few 60 ladies to enjoy Galena and one another's company! A perfect house with everything we could need. We can't wait to return!

Expectations for the stay were not met for the cost per night. Musty ordor meant one guest had to secure a hotel. Surprisingly dreary feel about the place with window ac not operating all over the house so HOT upon arrival. Not really within walking distance to downtown. Left early.

We loved Galena, and the rental was well maintained and comfortable. Enough room for 6 adults. We enjoyed our stay and would rent the same place again

We loved staying here! This was the most well equipped house we’ve ever stayed in. We had everything we could need and more. It was great to stay in one of the historic homes of Galena. Would highly recommend.

As always, this house was a great stay for my annual trip to Galena with my sisters. Its always clean and well maintained, with good communuction regarding details needed. We also love tge convenient location.

Perfect for my family of 4-5 adults. In town for a family wedding. Hills did make walking downtown impossible. No Ubers, hard to find transportation downtown be prepared to drive. But the hills, narrow, winding streets are what make Galena charming. Nice outdoor space. Kitchen perfect as I had to prep a wedding cake.

Myself and a group of nurses came to Galena for the weekend as a girls trip. We had a great time!

We had a great few days staying in Galena. Was easy to walk into town and back which was great both during the day and for dinner. Very well equipped house for those who prefer to stay in and cook. Recommended!
