I was looking for a place for Spring Break for our family of 5 to go that was in a nice area, close to the beach, large enough for all of us to be able to lounge around in off-beach hours, and also accommodate our dog. This was it! It was exactly what I was looking for. Rooms were clean, kitchen was stocked with basic supplies, beach was minutes away, neighborhood was very nice. Great communication from the owner after booking and during our stay. Will absolutely look here again when we come back to Kiawah. Can't say enough good things about our experience!

The house is located in the perfect location to walk to the beach, Night Heron Park, the Sanctuary and bike paths.

We spent the month of February at this property in the Oceanwoods area on Kiawah Island. This was our 5th visit to Kiawah and Oceanwoods is a great location. It’s only 230m from the beach as well as numerous walking and biking trails. The property is very clean and well-maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped with newer appliances along with full-sized stacking washer and dryer. There is comfortable seating in the living room with 2 footstools. February was unusually cold this winter and so the HVAC system was running quite a lot. While it did heat up the cottage nicely, it was noisy. Something to consider for light sleepers. As is common in many Oceanwoods properties, the hot water is provided by a tankless, on-demand system. While I’m sure this is more than adequate in the summer, in a cold winter, it takes ages for the hot water to reach the various faucets as the unit is mounted outdoors. But once the water did reach the faucet, there was plenty available.An update to the master ensuite bathroom would be welcomed with the addition of a walk-in shower and comfort height toilet, but that being said, there are 2 grab bars in the tub area along with a rubber safety mat so that did help using the tub to shower in.There are 2 outdoor charcoal grills but a propane gas grill would be a terrific addition for those of us who don’t like to use charcoal. The outdoor furniture in the screen porch and deck are quite nice. We would definitely stay at this property again.

LOVED this place. Location is perfect, 5 minute walk to the beach. The Eugenia area on Kiawah is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. Really, you can't beat this area in terms of location without being directly on the beach. What set this property apart is the quality of the furniture, which was very comfortable. More like what you'd have in your own home vs the sometimes less-than-comfortable sofas, chairs, beds, and linens found in most rental properties. The kitchen was well stocked as well. Property managers we friendly, considerate, and communicative. We will be back for sure!

Beach was an easy, short walk. Coffee maker was broken and owner addressed ASAP. The resort is also a short walk which has a little store for breakfasts or beverages. The deck was a great spot to hang with the dogs. Perfect location, perfect getaway.

Second year in a row and everything was perfect! We’ll be back!
