Stayed Feb 1, 2026The host was excellent at communicating.There was a nice sitting area outside.The bed was very comfortable and the home was spacious.Dixieland Delight is close to the main road and many restaurants & grocery stores.We took a nice walk in the neighborhood.Overall a very nice stay in this charming house.

Stayed Mar 10, 2025As nice as the house is (and it is nice), what makes this place special are all the great outdoor spaces for conversations, relaxing and enjoying the cool night air. I was there with my two brothers to see Detroit Tigers baseball, but the best moments were hanging out at the house talking and laughing. Thank you!

Stayed Mar 7, 2025We spent a weekend here and loved our stay at Dixieland Delight. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The lock system was easy to check in and check out with. Beds were very comfortable to sleep in. The outdoor area was a wonderful touch. I've never really spend a lot of time at a VRBO in the backyard, but the sitting area in the tiki hut made it irresistible. It was the perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee and hang out. The decor throughout the house added to the overall welcoming and homey feel. Location was also important to us and we could easily get to the convention center and downtown in just minutes. Highly recommend!

Stayed Nov 29, 2024This house was the perfect spot for our family to relax together after a busy week. The backyard is a wonderful spot to read, listen to music, and enjoy the games. The front porch swing and the visiting kitty cats were also ideal. Cobb and Pen is just two doors down and delicious. We also enjoyed the antique shops in Lake Hollingsworth. Recommend!
