Darling Cottage ~ 1 Mi to Lake Erie Beach!

The cottage was cheerful and cute. It was in a quiet setting. It was well equipped and clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful setting with a country feel yet just minutes away from wineries, coffee shop, restaurants and the Lake. The owners have made good use of the space and provided us with some nice, thoughtful amenities. The bed was comfortable and the place was cheerful and clean.

Our family (2 adults, 2 kiddos) had a great stay! The frog pond was a huge hit as was the proximity to the beach. We loved the house and found our stay really cozy. As others have noted the stairs to the loft are steep but the handrails help and the kids were really careful. They LOVED the loft bedroom and the beachy decor. Really cute. Minor minor improvements - Maybe supply a broom and a few more towels? We stayed 3 nights and rationed our towels the porch swing isn’t super functional either but that wasn’t really a big deal, if it were though I’d have spent a lot more time on the super cute screened porch. Overall I can tell a lot of thought and love goes into this space and felt really welcome and relaxed there with my family.

The cottage was the perfect home for our long weekend trip! The location of the cottage was perfect, very private with a huge yard to run and play in but close to a few stores for the essentials. The frog pond was a favorite of the kids and we had to visit every day of our stay. The house was fully stocked with all the basic items plus a closet full of additional items such as a crockpot and high chair. There were small games and toys both in the living room cabinet and upstairs loft. The stairs to the loft were very steep however there were signs above the top and bottom of the stairs for awareness. Our family would definitely stay again

This cottage was very clean, and the owner had it well stocked with anticipated needs of the guests. The setting is very quiet and peaceful.

The property is the perfect place for a small family trip. The location is central to many activities/beaches. The cottage is very well decorated and the large outside space is perfect for a cookout and yard games such as cornhole. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

great little cottage and nice location

We enjoyed a nice weekend at the cottage. The house was perfect for a mini getaway with family. Very cute decor. It was close to the tubing lodge, arcade and other fun things to do with the kids. We enjoyed board games in the evening and made many fond new memories. The local coffee bean house was delicious for breakfast and we had a great dinner at skunk and goat. Thanks to the owners for sharing this special place.

2nd year we came up for the Northeast, PA wine fest weekend.We were excited to return, knowing where we were staying…The Cozy Cottage!Quiet & peaceful.Couldn’t ask for more. A clean, comfortable home away from home.Nothing better than falling asleep, waking-up, and or coming back in the evenings to a well-maintained & clean home-vs-a hotel.Albeit we didn’t use much more than the coffee maker, toaster, & fridge, the place has every kitchen amenity you could possibly need for a longer stay.We will return again next year, and the year after, and the year….?

Cute cottage, surrounded by trees and an expansive green lawn. It was very close to Lake Erie and not far from wineries. The kitchen was well supplied, the bathroom had plenty of clean towels. Though the bed was a bit small, the bedding was nice. There was Roku TV. The loft had two twin beds. We didn't need to use the loft, but noted the stairs are a bit steep.

What you see is what you get. Delightful cottage in quiet NorthEast outside of busy Erie. In the middle of grape vines and a lovely beach 1 mile from cottage for sunsets. Peace, quiet, tranquility. Just charming.

The cottage was beautiful. The decorations and paint scheme was so cute. We liked the quiet country setting, but yet still be rather close to everything. For our family of 6, the cottage worked out well. The steps to the second floor, are very steep and narrow, but worked out ok for our boys.

We loved this property! The cottage was perfectly decorated and all of the amenities were impressive. Our teen especially enjoyed the loft bedroom. The frog pond was very cute. We loved the short drive to the beach to watch the sunset. Owner was responsive to questions immediately. Highly recommend!

Located not far from Lake Erie and a great beach and wineries! The house was cozy and the back porch was nice. Steps leading up to the loft were very small, my in-laws couldn’t climb them. Thankfully there was a bedroom downstairs for them. The couch bed is very uncomfortable even my kids wouldn’t sleep on it. Kiddos enjoyed catching frogs in the back. Overall a nice place to stay.
