Cute Cottage, Pet Friendly- near public beach

Nice and comfortable place to stay!

Very uncomfortable bed and the comforter and pillow shams smelled like body Oder also the the shower is very tiny.

Everything was there that we needed. The cottage was very clean. Hope to stay there again on future visits to our daughters family.

Adorable place to stay. Bigger than a hotel room. All the things you could need in kitchen, extra towels, blankets, soap, beach chairs, and a small soft cooler. There's movies for the dvd. We enjoyed our stay! If you have a pet, they provide a pet bed and towels for rover.

Great location, windows were taped and unsecure, building old and need of repair, grounds were unkept with many tripping hazards, pans and pots in kitchen dirty and stained.

Clean. Very comfortable bed. Check in was easy. Nice location. The shower is really small and the water temperature in the shower was tricky to adjust. The only draw back for the dogs was that the fence around the yard is in disrepair so no possibility to run around off leash. Luckily there is a lovely dog park just a few minutes walk. Overall we really liked our stay!

Cozy, little cottage that is well supplied. The bathroom is small but the rest of the house is just right for a couple. We loved our stay.

The cottage was clean and had everything well stocked. The communication with Angela was great. We enjoyed the location of the cottage, close and walking distance to the beaches and shops. We had fun on the golf course and biking on the island was fun! The cottage needs some TLC But good value for the price.

What an adorable little cottage! The owners have thought of everything! Decorated so ‘beach’ cute. Stayed with my dog and we absolutely loved it! Nice walk to beach. Quiet location. I slept better there than at home! I hope to come back next year!!

How I loved this small place under the trees near Middle Beach. I had absolutely everything I needed to be comfortable, to cook, to watch some old movies. My little dog didn't really want to leave. Well, me neither.

Very small, not for seniors

Wonderful except I have mobility problems hard to climb in and out of bed once in very comfortable.

This rental is in desperate need of TLC. The sewage leak underneath the property provides a long-standing home for the mosquitoes. The many bugs that run rampant through this property start with various ants, water bugs, and an unknown critter that crawled on my leg waking me up in the middle of the night. I assume they come in and out underneath the front door, since it has no weatherstripping, you can see at least an inch of daylight. Which also causes the air conditioner to work overtime. The extra shower knobs, make it difficult for shorter individuals to take a shower without hitting their head. The cabinetry and refrigerator are full of expired products, you know leftovers from other renters. The first rule in hospitality- thoroughly clean and prepare after a guest checks out, so it appears fresh and unused for the next guest. We would call this type of rental a St. Louis special it’s livable but on the lowest scale, D.

Good place to stay for a low cost I'll probably stay again

Communication with host was excellent as was the check in and out process. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The location is beautiful with a magnolia tree, pine tree and wisteria in full bloom hanging over the fence (which is in need of repair—stated in listing). It was easy walking distance to the beach—approximately 0.5 miles to the middle beach parking lot and another 0.4 miles to the water’s edge. It is a quiet neighborhood. The floor had not been swept well prior to us arriving as there was dog hair (we did not have a dog) when I swept. The deck is wonderful even though the patio furniture is well worn but comfortable. We had planned to use the electric fire place on one of the cooler days but it had previously overheated and the plug was partially melted. The host immediately responded saying she would check it out after we left. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable as always! It’s close to everything on the island and perfect for a couple on a weekend or weeklong vacation. It’s a lovely property and Angela is wonderful as well!

Only complaint is the fence needs attention to keep our dog in. Otherwise very happy with everything.

Loved the inside of the cottage. Everything worked and and was clean. Kitchen fully stocked with what we needed. Loved we could bring our small dog. Outside was a little green and moldly - alot of leaves, but it was still winter. Didn't bother us. Quiet neighborhood, close to beach and stores. Perfect. Thank you.

Love staying at the cottage prefect for me and my big boy love to sit on porch and listen to the ocean. The host is awesome

Our week at Dauphin Island was a blast! Loved the cottage, it was perfect for my partner and I. It was very clean and sufficiently stocked with basic things we needed. I would recommend this cottage to anyone needing a place to stay on the island!

This little place was conveniently located to the beach and restaurants. It's nothing fancy, but who wants to spend their time indoors wgen you're at beach. Very quienmt and loved it was pet friebdky. Would book again.
