There are two bedrooms, a second floor king size room and a first floor double room, serviced by a bathroom with a freestanding bath, basin and WC. Hairdryer, Iron and Ironing board provided.Outside there is a courtyard with furniture and off road parking for one car. Fuel and power are included in the rent, as are bed linen and towels. The property is a non smoking home. Two well behaved Dogs accepted - owner open to enquiries regarding other Pets - please contact prior to booking .A shop and pub are 0.2 miles away, while the river is 0.3 miles from the door. The location offers straightforward access to Belper, wider Derbyshire and the Peak District National Park, providing a convenient base at Crown Cottage. Note: Stairs are a little steep and may not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility

Town: Belper, situated in the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage site, is a town with a long and famous history dating back to the 13th century, when it was then called Beaurepaire (beautiful retreat), a name that still holds true today. Now you'll find it to be a spirited and bustling town, with attractions including the North Mill, Long Row and the River Gardens. There is a thriving local music and arts scene and the town hosts an annual Arts festival every May as well as Winter and Summer Food festivals and a monthly Farmers Market. The nearby historical village of Wirksworth is also home to a well-established Art and Architecture trail and Arts Festival every September. Just 10 miles away, the popular Peak District town of Matlock, together with its neighbour, Matlock Bath, are set in the beautiful wooded gorge of the River Derwent. The Matlocks offer a range of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as a whole host of other exciting attractions.
