Cozy Cottage. Walking distance to town. Just off the snowmobile and ATV trails.

Nice quiet cabin. We were there for work and couldn’t ask for more. Owner was very quick to answer any questions.

The host was friendly and very responsive. We stayed with two small children and the layout was great for each of us having a separate sleeping area and also plenty of space for the kids to play. We appreciated the baby gates available and the simple checkout process. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again in the future when we’re in the area. Thank you!

Perfect getaway cabin for the both of us. Plenty of extra space, great dock, and nice fire pit area. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Overall, a stellar experience!

We love staying here every summer. The lake is crystal clear and the perfect size for tubing and swimming. The cabin is clean and comfortable. And the sunsets from the backyard are always stunning. We cant wait for our 2026 stay!

Check in was simple, kitchen was a little small, but had everything we needed. The house was 2 doors down from our mom’s house. This was very convenient. When I needed to get ahold of owners they responded very quickly.

Cabin is clean and kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We caught many smallmouth and enjoyed wonderful sunsets. The lake is clear to the bottom in 20 ft of water. The stairs from the dock into the water are a great feature.

We were back for our 4th year, and this place never disappoints. Stone Lake is such a great area. The water was warm and clear. It always amazes me how little activity there is on the lake during the week. We had the whole lake to ourselves most days. The sunsets don't disappoint either. This cottage is great, and we're so thankful it remains affordable and rustic.

We love your place, especially the waterfront and sunsets!If you made a couple adjustments, we’d be back.A bathroom on the lower level and new flooring in the front rooms would cinch it. We would be glad to pay more for these improvements!

We absolutely love this cabin. We've been vacationing on Stone Lake for 25 years now, three at this property. The cabin was clean and well stocked. My kids love to fish and swim in the clear lake. Great sunsets and a very short walk to town.

This is the second time we stayed at this cottage and it was fantastic. We fushed every day, had morning coffee sitting on pier watching fish jump & momma duck with her ducklings swimming by. It is a perfect place to stay. Thank you for an amazing time !

We had another lovely family stay for the Birkie. The cabin was clean, warm and cozy during the really cold part of the week. And with snow this year, we could ski right down to and around on the lake. The new stone on the fireplace is lovely and we enjoyed the fire every day. Great communication with the owners and they kindly let us add to our party when a coach friend had their housing fall through. We love this cabin and are appreciative and thankful for having such a nice place to stay for the week.

I stayed there last year. WiFi didn’t work, fireplace was unfinished and carpet was filthy. I expected 100% improvement this year. Walked in with 3 dead mice on the floor, same carpet, but dirtier than last year and fireplace still unfinished. I have pictures to prove it.

Three of us stayed at this property on a golfing weekend. The description of a cozy cabin was accurate. Was somewhat rustic but very nice

This is our 2nd time here. Beautiful location. The sunsets alone are worth the trip. You'd never know you're so close to town.

Wow, what a gorgeous view of the lake! Plenty of comfortable space. Really appreciated all the games in the cabinet since it was rainy and cool.

I was saddened to see the steps to the dock were missing but the neighbor said they had broken and you planned to have them fixed (great news). The dryer is not working properly and the basement could use a better dehumidifier. Otherwise the property is perfect and we intend to rebook for next year. Thank you!

We stayed during the coldest week of summer. But we all still really enjoyed our stay. There is so much to do around the cabin on cold/rainy days to stay entertained. We cant wait for our next stay

This was our 3rd year here, and we're hoping to come back again next year to make even more memories! The cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We had a beautiful stretch of weather so we all enjoyed swimming, paddleboarding, and watching the stunning sunsets. You can walk to town and grab a bite to eat at the Stone Lake Pub. There's a coffe/craft beer shop close by too. Thanks again for opening your place to us, Tanya and Josh!

My girlfriend and I needed a vacation from the hustle of Illinois. This property nailed it. Walking distance to town, quiet lakefront, amazing sunsets, the list goes on... The cabin had plenty of room and was well equipped with cooking and eating supplies. Thank you so much!

Cabin was great !! Fully equipped with everything you need. Fishing was great again this year. Enjoyed our walks to town. Can't beat the beautiful sunsets.

Pleasant, nostalgic cottage with comfortable beds. We enjoyed our time as a base for exploring the area. Cabin was clean and would receive a 5 rating for cleanliness from us but the carpeting needs to be replaced.
