Beautiful cozy cottage, very quiet and clean with a stunning lake view. Close to downtown Ludington and many parks and beaches.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this property! It was peaceful and quiet but close to anywhere you needed to go. We enjoyed the fire pit on a chilly night and took long walks along the water front. We used the binder with recommendations for restaurants which was very helpful. Overall it was a great weekend trip!

The property was comfortable, neat and clean, great views and easy to find. We had a great weekend, just not long enough.

Terrible odor inside that took a full day to dissipate by leaving all the windows open and fans on. Every bit of clothing that entered the home carried the same odor until I got home and washed clothes. Hot water pressure was low and cobwebs were everywhere. Up to check in host was responsive.

Love the location, the ease of booking and communication with property management. Highly recommend!

This was our second year staying here for our annual fishing trip, and once again, everything was perfect. The place is clean, comfortable, and has everything we need. We are looking forward to next year!

The beds were very comfortable and the cottage met our needs very well. The ac in the living room plus brdroom fans kept the bedrooms cool at night to be comfortable

Nicely decorated cozy cottage. Clean, quiet. Beautiful view/location. If youre looking for rustic lake cottage, this one is for you. Only drawback: very tiny window A/C unit, does not keep up or remove humidity, floors got sticky. Cooler weather would be perfect. Bonus that dog could come, too.

Great location! Skinny Park was a daily visit to watch the sunset and listen to the waves.

This is truly a lake cottage how I remember as a kid. The location is a little bit of a drive from Ludington but nice if you want to be away from the downtown. The cottage was cute and quaint and perfect for our needs. The hosts were responsive to questions

If you’re ok with “ok” on cleanliness and don’t mind the VERY lived in appearance, this place will do the trick for a place to eat, sleep and take a shower. If you imagine yourself sitting on an adorable little deck overlooking a slice of Lake Hamlin, you may be very disappointed. It is in desperate need of repairs and painting/staining. The furniture was filthy and covered in spider webs and all associated ick. There is a very nasty, moldy slimy mess created by the air conditioner draining that greets you just outside the sliding door and next to the outdoor patio table. It did not look like the deck had even been swept off for weeks. Queen bed is very comfortable but linens are low quality and worn. Several lamp bulbs are burned out along with the refrigerator light and while these issues may seem petty, they contribute to my overall disappointment that this potentially adorable, cozy place is not being well cared for. Unfortunately, there was no inspiration for me to take pictures but I wish I had them to share in this post.

The cottage was very clean and smelled wonderful. Everything was there that you would need for a short stay. Check-in was flawless and communication with the host was great. The host was very accommodating for our arrival time as we were unsure when we would be to Ludington. The cottage sits in a cozy little area. Google maps wanted us to turn on a road that did not exist, so we followed the main road around the corner and there was the cottage. We would stay here again. Great experience!

We rented after Memorial Day weekend. The cottage was not exactly ‘overlooking’ the lake and the property was actually not well maintained. Lots of overgrowth. The deck was in need of some upkeep and the flower boxes were full of dead flowers. The inside however was great! Beds were so comfortable! Shower drain had a bit of a sewer smell. We did enjoy the sunset as much as we could see between 2 houses across the street. The cottage sits close to the road, up against a steep hillside. Cupboards were stocked with everything you need to cook. Towels were very nice. I probably wouldn’t book again.

Location is convenient, house adorable, furniture is a big denim hug. Cozy if its chilly at night - great deck area to get a nice tan. Bed is super comfy with a great view of water. And our favorite- a shower wand! Keurig handy as well. We ordered pizza up the road and had breakfast at Cafe 106. Played pickleball near water plant -nice courts.

It was okay, but there were pet hairs on the furniture and on the bed. The water didn't taste good, so we had to go get water from the store to drink. The location was nice, but I was surprised by the 100 cleaning fee added on at booking, plus other fees, so it was more than twice as much as listed

Tons of outdoor area, a comfy living room and 2 bedrooms with a jack and jill bathroom. Kitchen stocked with enough to make meals if thats your thing. Clean throughout, comfortable beds, great sunset views over the water.

Beautiful view of lake Hamlin, close to downtown Ludington and the state park. Cozy cabin, but not much privacy inside the house. You have to walk through bedrooms to access the bathroom. Check in and out was very easy. We had a lovely weekend!

Easy access. Cabin was clean and cozy. Spent most of our time outside on the deck looking at the lake. Quiet neighborhood and close to everything. Our only problem was the oven didn’t work. We all enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Clean, quaint lake cottage. Had all amenities we needed. Wish we had time to stay longer and explore the area more, but this was a great landing spot for local salmon fishing AND making a college visit/game for a few days. Check in and out was a breeze. Thank you!

If I'm ever in need for this area again I would return & check for tp. I would love to just enjoy the place.

For some reason didn’t receive check in information until I had to call VRBO at time of check in and get info. Otherwise, it was a rustic cabin across the street from Hamlin. Clean and quiet. Owner was accommodating to allow me to stay additional night. No concerns

Great location and view of Lake Hamlin. Quick ride to Ludington. Mattresses were comfortable. Had an issue with hot water in kitchen that was resolved quickly.

A nice place for a small family to stay. Good location for Hamlin lake and lake Michigan. We had a little issue when we first got to the rental but the owner came out quickly and did everything he could to remedy the problem.

I stayed here with family to go fishing in Ludington for the weekend. This home had all the essentials and it was just a quick drive to the lake. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the patio was the cherry on top. Daryl was very accommodating and communicative. We look forward to staying here next year!

Minutes from downtown and super cozy.

We have a family of four and we found our stay very comfortable. We had plenty space, made ourselves a nice dinner and really enjoyed our sleep and stay close to the Lake and many beaches and activities. Wish we could stay longer. Highly recommend this place.
