Relax in a cozy cottage nestled in the woods adjacent to beautiful Lake Cumberland. Located in
historic Burnside, this home is just minutes from multiple boat ramps, attractions, and Burnside
Marina.
As you enter the home, you’ll be greeted by a large kitchen with beautiful butcher block
countertops, all stainless steel appliances, large island, and a farmhouse style table big enough
to fit the whole family. Down the hall you will find two bedrooms on the left (each with a queen
size, 14 inch memory foam mattress bed) and two full size bathrooms on the right. There is also
a laundry room with front loading washer and dryer for you to use throughout your stay. As you
exit through the back door, there is a small lower deck with a propane Blackstone griddle grill as
well as a Komodo style charcoal grill.
Upstairs you will find a family room that is equipped with a large 55 inch 4K Roku TV that is
loaded with YoutubeTV and Disney Plus as well as a queen size pull out couch. To the left you
will find queen size bunk beds behind a semi-private wall, a half bathroom, and a second story
deck with seating for you to enjoy your mornings in the fresh air.

The air was not working. There was poison ivy all around the fire pit, and the black stone was really dirty. Need TV’s in rooms. And the water pressure was awful.
Everything was as described. Clean, close to everything, easily accessible and comfortable.
Traffic noise was bad. Thought this was supposed to be a cabin in the woods. Door security code key pad was kind of a pain to operate. We did enjoy our stay and it was clean .
Our family enjoyed this beautiful home. It was just perfect for 7 adults and 1 child. Clean, easy check in/out, great location.
While the overall pictures are accurate of the decor , we discovered the house to be very dirty. In the middle of the night we discovered beetles in the upstairs bed and bedroom area (large 1). Also discovered a dirty toilet in the upstairs. Additionally all of our feet were completely black from walking on the floors. We had the reservation for 2 nights but left at 6:00 am after our night 1 discoveries. I called the property management company who tried to explain away the bugs as a result of being in a wooded area. A few bugs here and there, yes..but beetles in a bed is more like camping without a tent. I provided a picture of them. I asked that the owner call me to discuss a refund for night 2, and have asked 4 times now and and have yet to receive a call. It is Tuesday night....this was last Saturday. So to summarize.....very dirty, beetle bugs in the upstairs bed and ZERO response.......beware if I could rate 0 stars I would.
First time for grandchildren. Been staying in cabins and cottage for over 25 years. Very nice, clean, and cozy place. You get an A on description (need to put 25 min. To Laura Lake) Will stay again if down in area. Overall 9 out of 10 from us. Good job on remodeling. The Wilson's. 06/18/2023
Outstanding place to stay, quiet, relaxing...perfect for anything. Location was close to everything. The house itself very clean and maintained. Simply Outstanding!
Only negative was a few dishes were dirty and needed to be washed prior to use. The location was fantastic, secluded yet close enough to shopping and restaurants. So it was quiet. Very spacious.
I loved my stay.It was beautiful.
Nice property and secluded.
Mis leading information as far as attractions and white water rafting are concerned. It was a 45 minute drive to the rapids, and the attractions were too far away to really enjoy the trip.
The location of the property is perfect. Close to town and and not very far from the lakes.
Very nice place! Convenient location to stay for a weekend of boating .
Great place to stay when visiting the area. Only about 30-40 mins to Cumberland Falls. Home is just as pictured and has plenty of space for everyone in the family! Host was very quick to respond and assist when we had questions.
