This is a family beach located in Emerald Isle, NC. The house is a duplex; one side is the rental unit and the other side is for the owner's use. Very quiet location and super relaxing but also a short drive to several great towns with shopping and dining. The house sits high up and has great ocean views from the covered porch! There are stairs from the yard to the street, then only about 3 houses down to the beach access stairs. Super convenient!

Stayed May 24, 2025The house is very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water. It is located on the second row only a short walk to the beach. You can see the ocean from the living room couch. We saw a dolphin from the back porch. The beds were comfortable. We really liked the “hidden” kitchen table drawers where the utensils were kept. The greenery in front of the house provided privacy and a sound barrier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed May 2, 2025This duplex style house is conveniently located near the beach and with everything else. House is private and quiet. Got everything we needed. I love the back yard lounge chairs to just hang out with friends / chat. Watch sunset. Enjoy the ocean wind. We all slept well. One thing I regret is I didn’t book the trip longer. - maybe next time!

Stayed Aug 4, 2024If you are out to enjoy a good neighborhood and outdoor activities,- it is a perfect spot to be! House interior and study of supplies were very lovely. Unfortunately, we vacationed at the property at the hurricane time and mostly stayed inside. Strong smell of the mold was unevitable.

Stayed Jun 26, 2022This property was perfect for me. I was looking for something with an old beach cottage feel on a section of beach without high rises or condominiums. I was able to sit on the back deck and watch the ocean while reading or enjoying a meal. It was a very peaceful location with a very short walk to the beach.

Stayed Jul 10, 2022We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach and sitting on the outdoor patio watching the waves feeling the breeze. We all slept great, too. The cottage was cozy and we had everything we needed.
