We have a small house with a wonderful location, only 120 m from Åkershus bay.

It is located at the tip of Värmlandsnäs 4 mil from Saffle and is suitable for 2-3 persons.

It is 120 m to the beach with shallow water and sandy beach, just go down directly with your bathing suit on.


The cottage has a bedroom with two good beds and kitchen.
1 extra bed can be arranged if necessary.

The cottage has a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, stove with 2 hot plates. The water in cans deliveres to the house. The cottage has a nice outdoor toilet but no bathroom.

It's also very nice to kayak among the many beautiful islands nearby.
The archipelago is incredibly beautiful here!

DESCRIPTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT:

The cottage is located in a rural setting next to Vänern at the end of Värmlandsnäs. Ekenäs Harbor is 1 km away. There is a nice café and restaurant with lovely outdoor terrace, Restaurang Ekenäs also serves good hot food and alcohol. Occasionally they organize special events with Live music.

Boat trips leave daily during the summer to Lurö.

There is a nice walking path along the water and do you like to pick berries, you can just go outside the house.

Other:
Rowing boat is available for free, motorboat can be rented for 270 Euro per week. If it's the first time you rent the motor boat, Henrik, if possible, usually goes on the first trip so you get used to the boat and give tips on good fishing places.

    Very cozy cottage with boat access for fishing and excursions on Lake Vänern. Henrik is a very nice host that was very helpful!

    We had a lovely stay in this cute simple cabin. It was close to nature, the lake and the forest. Lots of swimming. Perfect for a couple. Such a beautiful location. Thank you so much Anja and Henrik.

    The perfect Swedish nature experience! We absolutely loved our seven days at the summer house! Henrik and Anja are the perfect welcoming hosts, we now regard them as friends. The summer house is delightful, everything you need and more , the beds are very comfortable, we slept soundly! We enjoyed Magical evenings sitting on the veranda watching amazing Swedish wildlife. We were astounded at the diversity of wildlife we encountered! It is a truly wonderful area, we took walks through the forests, boated and waded on the sparkling lake, it was a nature experience the like of which we had never experienced before. It is so quiet and peaceful, a true unwind experience. There is a beautiful restaurant on the lake only a short walk away through a truly enchanting forest. We were there for seven days but it felt like a two week rest, totally cleansed and refreshed! We can totally recommend Henrik and Anja’s beautiful summer house and will definitely be returning to visit! Thank you both again!
