Stayed Feb 16, 2026Very enjoyable stay. Lovely clean and well appointed cottage with great views and comfortable beds. Great for coastal walls but only 12 minutes from Salcombe. No real to talk to the hosts but overall very welcoming.

Stayed Sep 2, 2025The house is in a lovely spot and great for coastal walks. We had a free basket of logs for the log burner but it was too warm to use them unfortunately. There’s no mobile signal but there is WiFi which makes up for that.

Stayed Apr 18, 2025We had an amazing stay on East Soar Farm. The property was clean, comfortable and cosy, and was like a home from home. The log burner with an endless supply of logs was very welcome on the chilly nights.Our three young children had great fun spending time with the animals, including getting into the field with the newborn lambs and nursing them! Our children are desperate to return.The surroundings were beautiful, and there were a number of lovely walks along the coastal path, which was on the doorstep.Schalk and Marijke were wonderful hosts. Their communication before we arrived was extremely helpful and timely and they were readily available throughout our stay.

Stayed May 27, 2024We had a wonderful time at East Soar farm. The kids enjoyed being surrounded by the animals and we did the splendid walk to Salcombe Beach and back. The apartment has just what you need in order to cook, sleep and shower and was very clean upon arrival. We felt very welcome and well taken care off.
