Cottage retreat in The County near top-notch wineries and sandy beaches!

I would have give a 6 stars at communication with host, very polite and responsive. We enjoyed a week the four of us.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was well located, not too far from the pool and playground which was key for us with 2 little kids. Vanessa was very nice and responded to our questions efficiently.

The home itself was even better than online photos made it seem—very spacious and the screened-in porch was great for dining and relaxing. Amenities nearby are very nice—appreciated the free kayak/canoe/SUP access and the pools, as well as basketball, table tennis, leash-free park, and hiking trails. Location is perfect—great proximity to Sandbanks, as well as downtown Picton, breweries, wineries, other towns, etc

We were delighted with every aspect of our stay. The property is beautiful, clean, modern and fully equipped with many of the household basics (cutlery etc) so that we only needed to bring some food and ourselves! The property is part of a resort which includes so many amenities - pool, tennis and basketball court, fitness center and a beach! We had an amazing time as a family. The owners were very nice and accomodating as well. Thanks so much for a great week. We will be back!

We loved our Thanksgiving holiday in Prince Edward County. The cottage was perfect and so close to Sandbanks! Vanessa is a wonderful host! Can’t wait to return soon.

This was our 5th year in a row at East Lake shores. We loved this unit, immaculately clean, great location and quick response from owner on any questions. We hope to be back! Thank you for letting us stay in your unit!

The cottage is very nice and comes fully equipped. For a family of 6, the kitchen equipment was perfect (big pots and pans for cooking). It would be best to bring your own water to drink and use in the kettle (or cook?) as the tap water comes very rich in calcium. So much that we sometimes had to rewash dishes fresh from dishwasher (calcium build-up) and it was also very apparent in the kettle while the water was boiling. Not a minus, just an observation. The host, Vanessa, was very welcoming and helpful. The check-in and out process was seamless and the amenities on site are great. The proximity to sandbanks is a huge plus for us. Overall great experience. Would definitely recommend.

The cottage was very clean and exactly as advertised on the listing. The resort was also very clean and included everything for a great family getaway. Sandbanks is approx. 15 minutes away so you can enjoy a day at the beach and come back to enjoy the many resort activities and pool. Stongly recommended this place.
