Gas fireplace for extra charm. Air conditioning. Fire pit for camp fires. There is a queen bed in one bedroom and a full size bed in the second bedroom. Maximum 4 people. Clean and comfortable!

Stayed Oct 10, 2022The view was remarkable. Right up on the STL River, with Canada across in beautiful foliage! The property is older, and maybe the photos don't show that well. However it was well maintained, and very clean. It has no central heat/HVAC, but the owner had several electric heaters going that worked fine for us. There was also a gas fireplace that blew more heat when needed. Some bees found their way in, and I told the owner who said she would have it sprayed. I think the kitchen windows were not well closed and when we closed the windows completely in the kitchen, they stayed out. The shower is similar to a cruise ship in terms of very small space, but it was fine, with hot water and a good flow. We came 2nd week of October, and things are getting closed in Clayton. It was very quiet. It could get noise in the middle of the summer given the many summer homes nearby. We really enjoyed our 4 nights in the area. Sitting on the deck and seeing ships go by was relaxing.
