Wallis Farmhouse is a late Georgian farmhouse in the picturesque village of Hardwick. We provide a variety of self-catering accommodation, close to the city of Cambridge in England. The house stands in extensive gardens adjoining our meadows and woodland, which border the Wimpole Way. Hardwick is 5 miles from the university city of Cambridge, and 15 miles from Ely and Newmarket.

Stayed Nov 28, 2025The cottage was quiet, Comfortable and warm which was great given the cold damp weather. Restful sleep. Parking on site. Stayed with family in two other cottages whilst visiting other family in hardwick. Would be great in the summer to sit out on the court yard. The owner was very helpful.

Stayed Aug 8, 2025Clean, with everything you need in the way of kitchen equipment etc, a comfy mattress and settee, and attractive grounds to stroll around.Great walks and a pub serving mainly Italian dishes close by, with Nisa further away near the other end of the village. We would also highly recommend the Amor cafe for breakfast, just a few minutes drive away - check their website rather than the Google listing for the full menu!Lack of CD/DVD player didn't bother us, but the listing should probably be changed to reflect it. Lovely to have a hairdryer and towels provided!

Stayed Mar 7, 2025The Elm apartment was lovely and clean when we arrived. I love the location as it is very convenient for Cambridge and The Eversdens which is important to me. It is great if you are bringing a dog as the area around the accommodation is good for walking them.
