Stayed May 13, 2025Excellent accommodation - quiet location - good amenities close by eg shops/pubs. Perfect with dog - appreciated being able to freely use the lawn to dog walk and parking excellent. Although very close to owners property felt privacy was respected We’d definitely book again

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed in Crabapple for 3 nights and were able to travel to see our son and his family in a nearby village in no more than 10 minutes. They were unable to accommodate us as they are in the process of having an extension constructed and their house is uninhabitable. Our hosts extended the stay at very sort notice by one night which was very generous. An issue with the room we originally booked was resolved very quickly.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We were after self-catering accommodation and met our needs well. Kitchen well stalked with utensils and also a fridge. Great location in quiet village and easy access to main roads. Lovely pub 2 minute walk and serves good food.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We spent five nights at Wallis Farmhouse this week while visiting family in Hardwick. It's ideal for this purpose, as we only really needed a place to sleep. I'd have liked to have had an option for breakfast, as we were really hungry one morning, but I'm glad it wasn't included since we would only have done it maybe once or twice. Hard to find places for breakfast in the village.
