Stayed Mar 6, 2022We had a very nice week at this cute and clean cabin just outside of Asheville. We loved the close location to restaurants and breweries and hiking and enjoyed sitting around the fireplace in the evening playing board games. Another plus was the well-stocked kitchen and enjoying coffee on the porch listening to the creek flowing through the yard. A few minor things to note- neighboring homes and the road are closer than depicted in photos and we would have appreciated better check in/out instructions and the posting of a wifi password. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

Stayed Jun 21, 2021Terrific access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and related hiking trails, which we made great use of. Additionally, cabin amenities are excellent - I took a bubble bath every day just to treat myself. It was a great relaxing trip. The only criticism would be that the downstairs bed was so squeaky that we ended up sleeping on the upstairs bed. However, overall, the cabin is a beautiful and restful haven that we thoroughly enjoyed. The full kitchen made it really easy to lounge around in comfort for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Stayed Mar 9, 2021This absolutely charming property is situated on substantial land featuring gorgeous landscaping. The decor features a homey, rustic country style (immaculate too) with all the amenities needed. The owners are communicative, helpful and provided a lovely experience for family and our pets too. We can confidently refer this great cottage to Asheville-bound travelers.

Stayed Nov 12, 2020The place provides a warm cozy feeling inside while providing a relaxing scenic country setting outside. Fabulous location, that allows for less than 20 minutes of drive time to Downtown Asheville, shopping, restaurants, hiking, Biltmore Estate, and more.

Stayed Oct 24, 2020We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was very homey, and the gas fireplace was a delight during the cool nights. The beds were very comfortable. The owners were accommodating and kind. The only aspect that I wish had been different is the downstairs shower is very tiny, about the size of a cruise ship shower. But the tub was big and spacious. So if one loves taking a tub, it’s fine. The upstairs shower was normal size though, so one can use the upstairs bath if a shower is preferred. We cooked quite a bit, and the gas stove was handy. We enjoyed watching wild turkeys and deer at the creek side in the mornings while having coffee. I would definitely recommend this property for a peaceful quiet stay in the woodsy environment. We would love to visit Eva’s properties again.
