Great location Fantastic other than a hole in the fence whichn we tried to repair someeeeehow our pet found it but was recovered Wonderful stay

This home is exactly as advertised. It was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed.

The kitchen had all the appliances, dishes, pans and silverware needed to cook a full meal. The cabin has a warm and inviting feel.

Overall a great stay! Had some communication issues with the host post check out, but despite that it's a great place to stay in Helena.

Our stay waa very cozy, clean, and the hostess was super nice! We enjoyed having a good sized shower, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen also! Coffe was provided and very good. No complaints at all..parking was easy and on site. We would like to stay here again when available! Highly reccomend to others!

Love this little historic house. Perfect for staying with a canine friend with the dog-door and fenced yard. Easy check-in, check-out. clean and cute. Easy walking to downtown Helena, easy access to hiking trails. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and utensils, and many spices, making home-cooking easy too. My favorite place to stay when I visit Helena.

My wife and I were very happy with the whole process dealing with this property. Check-in, location and the home away from home.

It’s a wonderful place to stay. Everything is beautiful great location, great accommodations, dog friendly, very quiet. Will definitely stay there again when we’re in Helena Montana. Michelle D

There was a very well appointed kitchen with spices in the cabinet and salad dressings the fridge. Very much appreciated the ziploc bags that were available. We used the grill twice for burgers and brats. Very quiet location with an extremely comfy bed. Only issue was the 22 steps to get to the front door as I arrived in a wheelchair. Thanks, Eliza!

Always love the time we spend at the Cottage

The perfect location to be apart of what is happening in downtown Helena. Super quiet, well maintained, and has a flair of its own that most places do not have. An absolutely perfect Vrbo for myself and I will book again for all future visits. The charm of the Cottage, along with the beauty of Helena and the people, has helped me fall in love with the area.Lastly, thank you to the property manager for the excellent communication, response time, and overall mamagement of the property. Quite the property that more people should enjoy!!!

The location is very close to the best parts of town. Easy to get to.

Excellent vacation stay. Such a convenient location. Very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Great communication with Eliza. Loved enjoying coffee on the private patio where we could watch the wildlife. So much history to explore! Reeder’s Alley is a must see if you’re a history buff. The entire neighborhood is historical. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome house and area!

We stayed at Eliza’s perfect little cottage while waiting to move into our new to us cabin. The location was great. We found our way around Helena easily. Hiking, library & restaurants were within walking distance. She was available to answer any questions we had. Overall, wonderful accommodations! Highly recommend!

We liked that this property is within walking distance to Last Chance Gulch. The property is old but that is its charm. We walked to downtown restaurants for dinners out.

What an amazing home! Just the right size with the right amenities. Clean and warm with lots of added goodies, such as toys for our dogs, comfortable sectional, well stocked kitchen, comfy bed, pillows, etc. Overall a great stay that we hopefully will enjoy again soon! Thank you!

Great location for extra family to stay.

We spent a month here with 2 dogs, fenced in yard was perfect for easy in & out, lots of walking. Downtown Helena is delightful, great restaurants &bakeries & beautiful nature trails.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. I, my husband, and our 2 medium/large dogs stayed at Eliza’s cottage for a couple weeks in October. This place is such a treat, especially if you have dogs, with a fenced yard just big enough for our fur babies to have some space so never never felt too cooped up. The ONLY reason I did not give 5 stars for cleanliness is just to inform fellow prospective guests that the cottage is very old, and comes with a few old house issues, but they did not bother me at all. Eliza cleans the cottage thoroughly and I personally am impressed there are not more apparent challenges with such an old structure. On that topic, the age of the house is a huge part of why I found it so charming and cozy. It is located in/near the oldest part of Helena. The neighborhood is rich with history that you can enjoy as you make the short walk to old downtown or to nearby trails. Eliza was always communicative, friendly, and kind. She went above and beyond to be helpful. I can’t say enough good things about Eliza’s cottage. Don’t hesitate to book this stay, especially if you have dogs. :)

This was our 2nd stay at Eliza's cottage. We love this place so much. Of any rental house I've stayed at, this one feels the most like a true home and is probably my favorite. So many convenient and considerate touches, like every kind of small device charger you could need, coffee, tea, plenty of dog toys, a dog crate, etc. Eliza is communicative, kind, considerate, and accommodating. The small fenced yard is very helpful, and effective for well behaved, larger dogs (there are a lot of small escape routes for little fur babes.) The neighborhood is so charming. We regularly walked to old downtown for dinner, reading the plaques for the historic miner homes along the way. Be aware that the cottage is very old and comes with some old building challenges such as crooked doorways, and a few insects here and there. I personally feel it all adds to the charm and would not deter me from staying again.

Lovely area, house built into a hill so some steep steps and a lot of them. Great grassy area for dogs to play and dog toys left for them which my young dog was thrilled with. A nice deck area off the back entrance was great to read a book and watch the dogs play. Fencing is wire and not suitable for small dogs, but worked fine for my bigger dogs. Host very communicative and responsive. Kitchen very well stocked, kitchen counter was not clean and wine bottles and cans left in laundry room, and had to clean up previous renters dog poop in yard, but none of these were a big deal. Over all the stay was very nice, steps were a bit of an issue with my knees, but the dogs had a great time and I'd stay there again.

Enjoyed this dog friendly property. Although an older (historic) home, it had all the amenities we needed for an easy and enjoyable stay. Bed was very comfortable which is always a bonus.

Excellent location, this cottage worked perfectly for out stay. Second time staying here both related to a bridal shower and wedding. Even climbed to Mt Helena Summit this time. My wife is talking about making an annual trip to Helena because these accommodations work out so well for us.

So cozy, perfect blend of old and new. Lots of thoughtful details and decor. Excellent location, could easily bike/walk downtown.
