we had a very good time in your Cottage and enjoyed it very much! Only concerning the equipment especially of the kitchen I would suggest to add some little things which wo in uld come in handy. However in general it was very nice, especially the view our of the windows :).

Please find our feedback on House 427 in Clifden. We were able to enter the house easily with provided info. The location is very nice. However the conditions of the house leaves much to be desired. Having an oil heater in the kitchen is unacceptable, especially with small children and the constant emissions. It is impossible to cook in there. Additionally, the water from the kitchen faucet tastes kerosene and cannot be used. The bathrooms are also in a dilapidated state. The closets have a very musty smell and it is impossible to store clothing. Furthermore, the dishes are haphazardly put together. Being without a functional kitchen is truely a hardship for a family. Coming from Kerry with a superb accomodation, we are very disappointed here, and the price-performance ratio is defintely not right. Foshare thiHCarolin

Very nice cottage with plenty of room for the 3 of us. Well equipped kitchen and washer and dryer made it very easy. Super close to the town of Clifden. Would stay here again.

It would be helpful if the Eircode system was explained to guests. The listing has the house as peach while it is actually white. It’s a tight road up to the property for those of you used to wider roads. Please check the items guests need to comply with checkout requirements. Some items were not available in order to leave the home as clean and neat as we found it. Americans will find the instant on showers puzzling. Instructions to all the appliances would be very helpful. Beautiful views from the front door! Clifden is a beautiful little town with Lowrys which is an outstanding pub for local music and an involved clientele.

On arrival the cottage was white instead of the warmer colour of the advert. We had trouble finding the heating but were helped fast by the caretaker. The cottage is very spacious and has a view to die for. We loved. The living room was quite small if the cottage would be fully booked but for two is was good. The kitchen was big and it looked like everything was there. But there were no tablets for the dishwasher. Please note that there is a Dolce Gusto coffeemaker and no alternative, so bring cups (We didn't) It was very nice that there were a washing machine and dryer.

Let's start with the positives: the house is located in a very quiet location, surrounded by pastures with sheep and horses. The rooms in the house offer sufficient space. The quality/price ratio is correct. However, what bothered us greatly throughout the stay was the very persistent smell of oil emitted by the heating system in the kitchen. There must be a leak somewhere that needs to be repaired as soon as possible. In addition, the level of facilities offered in the house is no longer up to the mark, especially in the bathrooms. Everything is made with the cheapest materials. A pity because the house has a certain potential.
