Lovely cottage with wood burner. Quite cluttered and clearly a loved family holiday home. Lovely outside space with animals for company!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the cottage. We actually returned to the cottage having stumbled across this gem last year. The cottage is ideally situated near a variety of beaches, some which are more suited to surfing/body boarding, others for walks, swimming and playing with kids. The area is really super if you like walks, a bit of history, local dinners and popping to the shops quickly. We love the coziness of the cottage. We've had mixed weather for both of our stays but the environment of the house made us forget about outside and cozy-up inside - the wood burning stove is so pleasant. The house is always clean and warm with lots of amenities for adults and children. The kitchen is very well equipped for home cooking and even baking. We look forward to returning again!

Very good stay in this comfortable and well equipped house. We enjoyed the welcome on our arrival and the house was very nice for two adults and four children throughout the stay. From a practical point of view, a tumble dryer would be a plus. For the rest, everything was fine.

The cottage was very comfortably restored while still keeping a cosy family feel about it. The kitchen was compact and well equipped. The bedrooms were bright due to the addition of Velux roof windows which added to the bright airy feel of the house. The location was a nice walk to Bunowen beach (3.5km) which was a lovely beach. The house was an ideal base from which to explore Connemara.
