Stayed Feb 10, 2026The home and property were delightful. We could not have had a more magical stay at Takou bay. The kayaks and hikes and birds on the property were exceptional. Anna and Ian were welcoming. Home was clean, well equipped and nicely decorated.

Stayed Feb 16, 2023My wife and I enjoyed our brief stay in the Summer Cottage. The accommodations were comfortable and the property was beautiful. We could have stayed a couple of more days and still not seen all there was to see. Anna our house was very attentive. I would highly recommend. Takou River Lodge.

Stayed Jul 24, 2022I’m so happy we’ve found this place. My idea of the perfect break from work. Accommodation lovely, clean and comfortable with fireplace heating up the whole cottage. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, we thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back to enjoy kayaking down the river to the secluded beach and to do some fishing and enjoy the glow worms at night time. Thank you to the hosts for a great stay.
