Beautiful spot, cabin is nice, seems to have an odd smell though, neatly kept though. The sofa chairs and carpet needs to be cleaned, feels very dirty. Otherwise nice, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Overall was a perfect place to stay for our short stay. Lake is beautiful & peaceful, no noise & very little traffic. Tried to do some fishing, but lake is very weedy and didn't have any luck after trying many different spots on lake. The Roku was frustrating to use since we weren't familiar; wished we could have gotten local channels for the news/weather. But all that was all minor. We really enjoyed our home away from home.

Location is great. 12 minutes from the ferry. Quiet community. Rental is great with everything you need. A little outdated and water pressure was poor. Great view. Would return.

We were visiting mackinaw city and found this place to stay. It was sweet and quaint. Loved the location and the general store not too far away. It had all the space our family needed. Pretty lake. And an outdoor grille. Enough beds for all. Nice and spacious. Furniture was clean. Bathroom clean and well stocked with towels.

The only negative is monitoring of cameras while we are there. I understand monitoring cameras, while the home is vacant. There is absolutely no legitimate reason to monitor cameras when the home is occupied, short of spying or snooping. Outside of that, I couldn’t ask for more, except a bathroom upstairs. Very nice property in a very beautiful locale.

We had a very nice family trip. There were the perfect about of room, we were able to bring our dogs and our boat. They had plenty of bedding and towels which I was impressed with as I was worried we would have to do a couple trips to the laundry mat but we didn’t. They had board games, a fire pit and even kayaks that we could use.

The overall stay was very pleasant. The firepit was enjoyable. Bedrooms upstairs and bathroom downstairs was a little bit of an issue at night. Water pressure was a little low. The unit was clean and well kept, but the unfinished ceiling was a little shocking on first entering. The storm door was rotted out at the bottom.

It was a beautiful view and we would come back again. However I would recommend having a step or a couple stairs from the cement/dock area going down to the water and adding handrails. Also would recommend some lighting in the area of the fire pit.
