Coosawattee River Resort, The Cottage in the Woods, Pet Friendly

The only problem we had was there were only 4 rolls of toilet paper for 3 people for a week. There was no dishwasher detergent or laundry detergent. In the other cabins we’ve rented for a week from Vrbo, we had tons of toilet paper and dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent to last us all week. The layout and location of the cabin was wonderful, and the beds were comfortable. The front porch and screened in porch were nice to hang out with family, and let our dog run in the front porch. We really enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved The Cottage in the Woods! So peaceful and relaxing. The beds were super comfortable. The amenities were amazing. The hostess had decorated the cabin for Xmas and even left snacks for us in a basket. We highly recommend this cabin and resort and would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful home...comfortable and homey...every thing you need. Quality accommodations.Amazing roadways throughout. So many interesting places to check out..we visited 3 state parks, all beautiful! And..the resort itself offers an abundance of amenities. Would love to visit again. We've never been to this side of Georgia. An awesome surprise!

We loved our stay at this cabin. Everything was clean and cozy with a welcoming feel. The kitchen was fully stocked and the living room was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The beds were very comfortable as was the couch. We enjoyed the outdoor space watching deer come through while sitting on the front porch swing or reading a book on the screened in porch. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive. The cabin was well maintained and you can tell a lot of care goes into making guests feel at home. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

We had an amazing stay. It was just what we needed to unwind in a hectic world. We watched deer from the patios, cozied up on the couch and had a big kitchen to cook. Everything we needed for a home away from our home. We will be back.

Clean and comfortable with nice decor. Loved fireplace! It’s in a good location and easy to go so many places. We went in a different direction each day. It made our anniversary really special. We also had half dozen deer come visit our front yard. Would definitely like to return.

This was an awesome stay! We loved Ellijay and Blue Ridge! The Host of the cabin was fantastic! The cabin had almost anything that we needed and more!

Great location. Only a few minutes from town. Cottage was beautiful & clean. Neighborhood is quiet. There were houses close by but we never saw or heard anyone. Deer came right up to the back porch! The drive is easy.. gated entrance to a paved road, to a gravel type road that’s not scary steep or winding. Host is super nice & easy to communicate with. Everything we were looking for in a rental. Will definitely book again on our next trip! 5 stars!

My family has been staying in vacation rentals for over 20 years and this is absolutely one of the best homes we've ever stayed at! It was so inviting, cozy, comfy, relaxing, clean, and well-appointed. Mattresses were plush and very comfy, hall bath has a handheld shower head, and kitchen has great range of cookware and appliances. Chris was easy and prompt to communicate with and has thought of everything to ensure a comfy and relaxing stay for her guests! We stayed 5 nights and didn't want to leave! Wonderful experience and would absolutely highly recommend and we eagerly hope to return in the future!

Great stay, the home is clean, beds comfortable and we felt instantly at home. We enjoyed the neighborhood amenities like fishing in the pond and river and swimming in the pools. We plan to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Coosawatti River Resort very much. The VRBO unit was beautiful and very accommodating. I have never seen so many deer in one community. Each evening we would see ten to twenty roaming around freely in our yard and the surrounding area. It was the perfect blend of country and community. We enjoyed visiting the towns nearby and had a great time picking blueberries at a nearby orchard. We ate delicious food at local spots and highly recommend Southern Charm in Blue Ridge. Our host was great and took care of all our needs. We can't wait to return ! WD, Jacksonville

My sister and I brought our mother (79 and does not see) to The Cottage In The Woods and loved everything about the house. The house was so clean and decorated with wonderful taste. Kitchen was our favorite. Stocked with everything to cook with ease and still be able to visit with family in the living room. Loved the screened in porch and all the deer every night. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet place close to Ellijay!!!

We stay in Ellijay every year and this cabin is by far our favorite. The decor is charming and it is very well equipped. Christine was awesome and answered all of our questions quickly. We spent a lot of time visiting the winery’s in the area….Ott is especially nice. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked again for later in the year.
