One dog is welcome however smoking is not allowed. Within 2.3 miles there is a shop and within 0.1 miles there is a pub. Compass Cottage is a wonderful retreat for accessing the Norfolk coast.     In pictures, it looked further back from road. Was only a couple of metres from road in fact. Back yard was small and very scruffy. Horrible stones to walk on. Smell on entering property. Needs artificial lighting even on sunny days in kitchen - so dark and dismal otherwise. Noise of rodents during the night. Lounge depressing and dark. Bathrooms ok. Beds comfortable. Kitchen equipped and furnished well. Nowhere nice to sit outside. Very disappointing
