Amazing home. Host was wonderful, and responsive. It's a difficult place to stay with a large group due to noise. It's a very quiet neighborhood and with 18 of us, including children, it was difficult to keep the noise level down. We would probably look fir something more remote or not in a neighborhood next time. For a group of adults, it would be great. The home is beautiful with a very well stocked kitchen.
The house was great for our group of 9-15 people. Loved the outdoor space, plenty of room for everyone. Wonderful shade tree. Loved the proximity to downtown and Lake Michigan. Couldn't ask for anything more.
This beautiful old home was the perfect setting to gather all 19 of our family to celebrate or 50th. Our grandkids had a great time bonding gabbing half the night in the large multi bed rooms. And the yard was perfect games arounfd a for bondfire and cornhole! A precious memory. Abd the owner was very responsive when we had a minor issue! Hope to enjoy again!
We absolutely LOVED staying here for our family reunion/vacation. We were able to stay with our children and grandchildren and it worked out perfectly. Rebecca was perfect and accessible immediately . It was exactly what we needed ! Canโt thank you enough โค๏ธ
We stayed here with several couples and 3 toddlers. There was ample room for everyone, both in the bedrooms and in common space. The parents appreciated the fenced in backyard where the kids could run around. We took turns making meals for the group, and the kitchen easily handled preparing those large meals. The house doesn't have air conditioning, but this was not an issue for us since there were plenty of fans, including an attic fan, and we could open many of the windows. The yard is also quite nice with plenty of shade. The location is outstanding. We all enjoyed being walking distance from downtown Ludington as well as the beach. We had considered staying further away from Ludington but everyone agreed this ended up being the right choice. The host was very responsive and welcoming, and made the processes of checking in and out go quite smoothly. Overall, everyone in our group was very pleased with the place; we had a great trip and would definitely stay here again.
Overall the experience was very positive. The place was well designed, clean, well furnished, and spacious. Since it sleeps 20 and there were 16 of us staying there, it would have been nice to have had a dishwasher. But the kitchen was not designed to have one given its size. I would definitely recommend this place for an extended stay in Ludington.
This is the perfect in town place to stay, with a bit of a larger group. We loved it ! The communication between us and renters for our check in and out were the best I have experienced. It has the old feel with simple life feel....Exactly what we were looking for on this family reunion vacation. Couldn't be happier with it
No issues at all. The home was very clean. And tidy. We had cooler temps so the patio with fire pit was nice and we used it every night. This home was a good base for the activities close by. Thanks much.
We stayed here with a large group of friends, including 3 toddlers. I arrived later than others in our group so I was slightly worried about how checking in would work, but the host was extremely communicative and we worked it out no problem. There were ample beds and rooms for everyone. The toddlers' parents noted that the large fenced-in yard was great for the kids to play in. There is no air conditioning, but there were quite a few fans in the house (including an attic fan) and the weather was cool for our stay so it was not an issue. The location was very nice: close to downtown Ludington and roughly a 10 minute walk to the beach. We had been looking at a slightly cheaper place further out of town, but everyone was happy to be able to walk to restaurants/bars/shops/the lake. After we had all left, the host found some stuff that the kids' parents had left behind and graciously offered to mail it back to us. Really above and beyond. If you have a large group looking to stay in Ludington this is a great place.
