Boothbay Harbor, Maine
Stuart Little is a wonderful place to slow down and just breathe. It's a perfect place for making summer memories. The bright and spacious living/dining room offers plenty of seating and is an excellent place to gather. The large well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher makes for easy meal preparation. An enclosed back porch makes a nice playroom for the kids. The covered front porch with both water and garden views is an enchanting place to enjoy a cocktail or read a good book.
It's a one minute walk down the path of stone steps and across the field to the beach where you can revel in sea glass hunting or enjoy a swim out to the community float. Four beautiful association clay tennis courts are available for use.*
There's something special about coastal summer communities in Maine. Little paths wind through evergreens to connect cottages and the sea. The Community House is a hub for kids to meet with ping pong and board games providing the kind of step back in time entertainment that conjures up nostalgia even if you have no reference for it.
The Maine State Aquarium is a 15-minute walk down the road and a delightful place to explore with a 10' touch tank. Walk around to the back and discover a great fishing pier for your use. Downtown Boothbay Harbor is a quick 2 miles away.
This is a very family oriented area and it's a quick walk to the beach area and the community center for ping pong and pay to play tennis*.

Cozy and charming. The cabin is in a nice Location. We were here in Sept and it was a little cold so no water sports (it looks like a great place for that). Wendy is great and easy to communicate with.
