The place is adorable, very well maintained and the shower pressure is fantastic! It’s in a great neighborhood that’s walking distance to so many great spots, including the river and bike/walking path that takes you toward downtown. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for biking trails access and post ride tacos. Walking along the Deschutes river is just a few blocks away. We never started the car once during our stay, which is always a goal for us. The house was very clean upon arrival. We are already planning our next stay here!

We had a great stay in Bend and loved that this property was in a quiet neighborhood yet so close to Drake Park and within walking distance of loads of shops and restaurants. The house met all of our needs and we really appreciated the special touches. Everything was clean and in good shape, the beds were comfortable, the house was nice and cool, and the spa was a definite bonus! We would stay here again and I’ve already recommended it to two other people planning trips to Bend.

We had a wonderful stay in Bend! The place was clean and the check-in process was easy. It was very walkable, just a 10-15 minute stroll to 10 Barrel, as well as a nice grocery store, cafes, and bakeries. The hosts provided a helpful guidebook with great restaurant recommendations. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace, which was simple to use and kept the living room warm and cozy. Our young child loved the loft; climbing up and down the ladder was an exciting adventure for him.The only minor issue was that the photos showed a bathtub, but the home only had a shower, and our child is not quite brave enough for showers. We probably should have paid closer attention to the description rather than just the photos.Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay. Thank you!

Any time we ski at Bachelor, we stay in Sunriver. This time I wanted more than just to drive through Bend - this house was the PERFECT base. Bachelor was a right turn and then a 25 minute straight shot. So easy. For dinners, and for a down day in town, everything was walkable from this house. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, shopping downtown. Even ski rental/return was 2 minutes away. Fully fenced backyard made bringing the dog easier. The MOST COMFORTABLE BED I've ever slept on in a rental! Like...I need to know what kind of mattress that is, for when I buy my next one at home. That kind of comfortable. We will absolutely be coming back. This was perfect.

This place was so great for our family get together at Christmas! It was clean, and perfectly decorated (including the holiday touches). The living room was cozy with the fireplace that could be flipped on without effort. Everything was provided, including cookware, dishes, plenty of towels. The hosts were easy to communicate with as well. Loved our stay!

It was a quaint little West Side home. Everything we needed was there. Loved the bathroom floor after walking in from the hot tub to rinse off!!! Cozy front room and propane fire place. The keypad for the front door is the only thing left to be desired. it proved to be touchy and difficult to get in taking two tries even at check in. With out a backup hardcopy key, and not adequate lighting we did manage to get ourselves completely locked out late in the evening after a company dinner. Luckily we live in Central Oregon and went to a friends house for a few hours as it was 18degrees outside. Went back and the keypad had not reset. Blocked us with too many tries. May need to add that to the small print and double check batteries in cold weather. UBER saved us. Other than that it was lovely.

The cinder house was absolutely perfect in every way for our stay! The house is adorable, clean, well stocked, and was very comfortable. I loved the little touches the owner has put into the home, like the heated floors in the bathroom and the thoughtfulness in the details. When we come back to bend; this home will be the first one I look to for availability

My husband and I loved staying at the Cinder Cone. It was very conveniently located to many great places in Bend, plenty within walking distance. Access to the property was super simple with just a preset door code. Management was super responsive, kind and accommodating. We brought our Aussie Doodle with us and there was even a basket with dog sheets for furniture, a lint roller & dog bowl for our use. The hospitality was such a breath of fresh air. This little spot was perfect for us and so cozy & comfortable in all aspects. The home was very neat & everything felt very clean and well kept. We loved our stay & will definitely keep this spot in mind for future visits to Bend! Thank you again Stones Throw for everything!

You can't beat the location in Bend. Close to downtown and The Old Mill and within walking distance of so many good restaurants and breweries. The property was spotless and had and was perfect for my spouse and fur kids. And after long days of hiking and kayaking we were able to sleep on the most comfortable mattresses ever. I Bend frequently and highly recommend this property. It's perfect.
