Stayed Jan 1, 1We enjoyed a week at Churn View, the accommodation was spotless and cosy. Just a 20 minute walk into Cirencester and really convenient for a number of Cotswold towns. We made the most of the surrounding countryside when the weather was good and cosied down with some nice food and movies when it wasn't so great! All in all a very much needed and appreciated break!

Stayed Jan 1, 1We enjoyed our stay at Churn View, cosily warm for a week away in November. We had a problem with the dishwasher which the owner responded to very quickly. The location was good, with a Spar shop almost next door, a bus stop opposite for buses into the town, or the option for a 20 minute walk. One issue for potential visitors to be aware of is the parking. There was indeed space on the road outside the cottage, but, it’s a narrow road where traffic goes too fast, and my friend and I both had our cars damaged by passing vehicles (a broken window, and wing mirror sheared off, the sorting-of which rather detracted from the holiday, and could have been avoided if we’d been advised to park elsewhere). Sympathetic neighbours advised us that it happens all the time, it’s a well known problem, and I feel the cottage info should maybe reflect this.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had a wonderful time in Cirencester, the location of Churn view is marvelous. Everything is in walking distance and there is a great pub just around the corner. We were there for a week and saw a lot. The service was great, we had a broken frying pan and they replaced it the same day. The cottage was clean and fully equipped. However i did miss a washing machine, especially when it is raining and you like walking, or when you are there longer. Luckily we had dry and sunny wheather. Tip for the owner, my husband missed beer pints. When we are in the UK we like to drink the local beers, and had no good glas to drink it from. Otherwise we would recommend this cottage to everyone.

Stayed Jun 21, 2025Twelve days in this charming cottage was most enjoyable for two adults. We had all the conveniences we needed in the cottage and a local quick market SPAR two doors down. The cottage is most comfortable in all rooms, including the large patio in the back with a clothesline. Bus stop 51 is closeby; across the street. Takes you into Cirencester. We would have benefited from more than one dish towel and one set of bath towels for our extended stay as well as to have a fan in each bedroom due to the unseasonably warm temperatures well after 9 pm. The booklet is very comprehensive yet one more item to add might be where to get laundry done closeby. Churnview is charming; built in 1837 yet up to date and modern inside. We highly recommend you stay here to explore the south of the Cotswold villages. 5 stars!!!

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had a wonderful week at Churn View Cottage, visiting many villages in the Cotswolds. The house looks just like the photos. It is very nicely furnished and cosy. Cirencester can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. There is a small supermarket practically next door. And 2 pubs are just a few minutes away.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had a lovely time at Churn View, staying for three nights. The cottage is in great condition, it’s cozy and warm and the kitchen is well-equipped. It is a 15-20 minute walk to and from Cirencester but there is also a bus, and there are also a couple of pubs just round the corner from Churn View. We would highly recommend staying here for a weekend getaway!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Really lovely place. Very clean and had everything we could need. It was very close to Cirencester it only takes around 15mins to walk over. The fireplace was lovely and they sell wood at the spar literally 30seconds walk up the street. Would come again :)

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Easy check in. Usually managed to get on street parking very close. Spacious, well furnished . Great beds which were very comfortable. Well ventilated and well set up. This property does not have close washing machine ( it did not advertise that it did) but everything else you could possibly need. Including dishwasher. It was a convenient location to explore Costwolds
