The Farm Cottage is a renovated former horse hotel. It retains the charm of its former use yet is well appointed and updated for comfort & convenience. The cottage overlooks a pasture with 2 barns with the Siskiyou Mt. range beyond to the south & the Ashland, Grizzly Peak Hills to the east. Stayed Jun 6, 2025This was indeed a charming property. We were intrigued by the rustic exterior, and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely, comfortable interior. It was a pleasure to be out of the downtown Ashland traffic and noise, yet it was so easy to get there when we wanted to. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed May 28, 2023Place was excellent! We would stay there again. In fact, we hope to next time we’re in the area. Hosts were great! A nice touch for me was that it was even furnished with an acoustic guitar, as I am a musician. Place was very clean and well maintained. Highly recommended. Don and Karen

Stayed Aug 11, 2025Perfectly appointed com plete with walking sticks, a guitar and freah blackberries. The stars were incredible and the views magnificent. Loved the pizza oven and proximity to groceries. Hope to stay again

Stayed Aug 5, 2025The cottage was wonderful. Beautifully decorated, clean and plenty of room for a couple. Even though the cottage is close to the highway you couldn't hear it at ALL. Very quiet! Just to make sure the hosts provided a sound machine. Located just a 1/2 mile from town it was super convenient to run into town to grab anything we needed.

Stayed Mar 5, 2025This is a nicely refinished farm outbuilding. If you want a fancy rental this might not suit you. We found it charming and comfortable. It has separate living area and bed room and bathroom. Comfortable chairs, large tv, nicely decorated in western motifs. Felt like a home away from home. We will return if we stay in Ashland again.

Stayed Sep 15, 2023We loved the space (so many clever uses of space, farm artifacts, and whimsical furniture)!! It was so comfortable and clean. Our only regret was coming in late and leaving early in the morning....we didn't get to explore and spend more time there.

Stayed Aug 31, 2023The owners put a lot of thought into details for a guest’s stay. It’s a lovely place to stay for a visit to Ashland. I liked that it was away from downtown by a short drive. As a matter of personal taste, the mattress/bed frame was soft for me, and the pillows could be upgraded. Everything else was spot on!

Stayed Oct 5, 2021We chose this property because it was a private, quiet option, and that was very much the case. The cottage was also very comfortable, spacious, and had lots of character. The big bonus were the three friendly donkeys in a fenced area nearby.
