Charming Lakeside Cottage with resort amenities

Great location, not far from Galena. Peaceful, comfy cottage. Just two concerns: battery was reading critical low when we tried to put in our access code to front door. Finally opened, but we had to use back door for our 2 day stay, and no lock on back door to lock up when we went in town . The shower had great water pressure, but ran out of hot water when 3rd person(hubby) tried to take his shower, and my son and I did not take long showers! Also son had to tighten bolt in chair in living room as he noticed it when I was sitting in it the first evening, no problem after that. The beds were comfy, very clean and beautiful setting. I would definitely stay there again. Probably just needs a little care as it is the end of tourist season. A new battery for front door access is a must. The owner was friendly and communicated well. Probably wasn't aware of the issues we mentioned

We felt like we were in Salem! Such an adorable little neighbor, full of charm. Place was clean and very roomy. Would stay here again!

The Cottage is so cute! We had so much privacy and enjoyed the Galena Territory. The club pool is amazing and the restaurant's food was delicious. There was a turkey and her babies and a deer right next to the deck. Very nice stay.

This is a great cottage in a great location with a view of the lake through the trees. The unit is well-equipped, clean and certainly as advertised. The owner was communicative and helpful, and overall, we had a wonderful experience here

Cozy yet spacious. Updated interior and well-equipped kitchen (plan on brining/buying your own spices though if you'd like to cook). If you're looking for a place to stay that feels outdoorsy yet has access to amenities like an indoor/outdoor pool and a fitness center, then look no further. Not to mention that it's within a stone's throw of multiple golf courses (not included). If you're looking for something that's truly secluded on its own in the woods, then this isn't it (there are quite a few other cottages in the vicinity). We enjoyed the quiet and would have liked to try the grill on the back patio and had dinner outside overlooking the lake, but the weather wasn't grilling-friendly, so we just enjoyed the view of the lake from the living room/kitchen.
