Great cottage overall! Very spacious living areas and kitchen. Kitchen was older but well equipped and worked great for our group. Great deck and bonfire pit. Our only complaints were the yard and swimming area. Unfortunately, there were weeds throughout the yard with small, very sharp burrs that were difficult to see and we all (including small children) kept stepping on them - could not safely walk around the grass without shoes on. The beach was great! However the swimming area was extremely weedy so we did not swim much - we did take our paddleboard & floaties out well past the dock and enjoyed swimming out there. It would have been great (especially for the kids) to have the shallow area with less weeds. We did ask about this prior to booking (since the pictures also show how weedy it is) and the owner told us that the water gets weeded by the county once a month in the summer, so we must have been unlucky on our timing.

This cottage was great for all of our needs and had the charm of a lake house of the past. Very comfortable and easy to clean despite the private beach! The only issue we had was with consistent heat on the flat-top stove. I would plan to grill or use the oven if you are eating in.

The cottage was perfect for our family of 8. There was enough room for all of us to sleep plus more. Everything was clean and well kept. The kitchen was stocked with nearly every appliance you could ask for. There were air conditioners in nearly every room. The yard was great and had lots of yard toys, bikes and floats for the lake. A canoe was provided for us to use. The neighbors were very friendly. One confusion was the key lock. There are two in the same area. The one in the door is the one with the key. A few of the door knobs would slip and we did get stuck in the bathroom. Other than that, it was perfect! We would stay again in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay. Except almost getting locked in the bathroom the door handle may need to be changed several of us had issues with it. So we stopped closing it all the way. The back door is a little tricky as well. Other than the door issues we loved it.

Very nice place for a family vacation. Plenty of room for a group of six to eight. Many water toys supplied. House is well furnished and equipped. Was nice to have a dock for our boat. Only setback was that the canoe that was supposed to be there was not.
