Stayed Dec 31, 1969We absolutely loved the cottage it was very smart, clean and had everything we needed for the week. The facilities are great the swimming pool and sauna were a highlight and the kids loved the park area. The staff on site are very friendly and gave us some good tips on places to visit. Would definitely consider coming again in the future if we return to cornwall.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Chose this spot as a perfect graduation stopover for Falmouth University. Its only 10 minutes away from the Penryn campus, a straightforward drive there. Took Porthallow as it had a hot tub and two bedrooms, as we had the Uni Grad and her BF and it was a bit of a treat for her. Loved the swimming pool, and used that along with the communal hot tub there, the one at the cottage was in the shade, so we only used that in the evening. It was a shame the communal pool closed so early, 18:00, as we would have liked to use it after visiting surrounding areas. Did have an issue with the hot tub, which was very quickly sorted - excellent communication. Accommodation itself was clean, spacious and not lacking in anything, although I did find the bed a bit hard. There was no hair dryer, which I should have seen on the details, so don't forget to pack your own! If I was to come back to this area, I wouldn't hesitate to stay over here again.

Stayed Aug 25, 2023The complex is lovely; being close to the pool was great. Interior of our cottage very clean, but shabby; slight let down for the price, once we saw standard of the others. Looked better in the photos. Sure it will be lovely once renovated, but we felt a bit short changed.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a lovely time at Tresooth Cottages. The shared facilities were a treat - we used the games room and hot tub (will hope for warmer weather to get poolside next year!) The hosts were lovely and friendly - they are also very responsive, and get in contact where needed very quickly. For example, when we were concerned with existing damage in cottage, there was a very prompt and calming e-mail response of assurance. There is an office on the compound where you can locate members of staff with ease. Location is excellent and is about a 15 min drive to Falmouth town, 7 mins away from a large supermarket, and 25 mins away from Truro. We took some day trips to Newquay (about 50 mins away) and The Eden Project (St Austell, around 1.45 hours away) These cottages are currently being renovated - Porthallow is one of the older cottages and there are some tired parts and very dated red carpets! Renovation is planned for later this year. The new cottages look lovely and we look forward to staying in a newly renovated cottage!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Nestled in the countryside but close to Falmouth this is a fabulous holiday destination. With cottages to suit every family they even accommodate four-legged friends. Modernisation of the cottages continues and from what I could see was to a high standard. The heated swimming pool, hot tub and sauna are the icing on the cake with enough space to either sit and watch or spend a lazy day in the pool. There is plenty to keep children entertained with an outdoor play area, games room with snooker and table tennis and of course the pool. There is even somewhere to walk the dog. It’s a great base to explore Cornwall, with some beautiful beaches and coves close by and the busier Falmouth and Truro easily accessible. Can highly recommend Tresooth Cottages and will certainly be returning hopefully very soon.

Stayed Jun 7, 2022We arrived in our 2-bed cottage & realised there’s a bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom which wasn’t suitable for our senior friends. Simon the manager was so considerate & accommodating that he immediately changed us into a 3-bed cottage without extra charge. We enjoyed the sauna, jacuzzi & swimming pool on site. Mawnan Smith is just a stone throw away where the Red Lion Pub offers excellent food. Glendurgan Gardens & Trebath Gardens are close by & well worth a visit. It’s easy to go to Falmouth too. We took a river cruise from Falmouth to Trellisick Gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tresooth Cottages. Thanks to Simon, Stuart & Hayley who were very welcoming, friendly & helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

Stayed May 9, 2022the property is lovely. Clean, well provided for self catering, everything worked properly, the welcome boxes a nice touch. The surroundings are pretty and well kept. All in all it was a very good stay and I would come again and recommend you.
