The convenience of being on the beach while living in a spanking clean and well conceived beach cottage. South Haven is such a delightful community with lots of fun restaurants. A great treat - we will be back.

It was the perfect getaway for me, being the grandma, with all of my family and extended family next door in a big house. It was wonderful to have my own private space to go home to every night

My family and I had the perfect little get away! The little cottage was exactly what we needed for the weekend with two adults and two toddlers… and you can’t beat the location. Steps from the beach! Short walk to town! Inside was so cute, clean and decorated nicely. We would definitely stay here again or even stay in one of the other cottages owned by the host that offers a little more space. Host was very easy to communicate with. Thank you again!

Great place to escape and unplug

We had an excellent stay! The cottage; as described in the listing is tiny but beautifully designed and stocked. We had one small issue with the electronic locks which seemed to be a glitch with programming. Although it was during dinner hour on a Friday the owner Greg did respond to us within about 15 mins and worked through the problem and reprogrammed the locks We did send a note through the VRBO system , texted and called as we were nervous about the pending rain. If it was not going to rain sitting on the deck and enjoying the beautiful view would have been an excellent waiting area.

This was a great weekend! Only thing to do different next time is stay longer!

We had a wonderful 3 days. The cottage was thoughtfully remodeled while maintaining a “cottage on the lake” feeling. We hope to return next year.

Very nice. Perfect for 2 people. Had everything we needed. Great view from back deck. Really enjoyed the sunsets! Private beach was a plus. We did find the climb from the beach back up to the deck was difficult! Wishing there were steps. Felt like we were climbing a sand dune!

We enjoyed our return stay at this small but charming and well appointed little cottage on the beautiful Lake Michigan. We hope to return again.

This is our 4th year. We enjoy being here with our son, his spouse and very our young grandchildren. It's so easy to enjoy the beach, kayaking and sunsets with the ease of not having to drag everything down to the large public beach. We appreciate the quality of the units and the upkeep of the overall property.

The cottage was charming and perfect for three adults. Owner was easy to contact and answered all questions in a timely manner. Sunsets were beautiful. Other guests became friends.

This place is perfect for a solo trip. The cottage was so cozy, clean, and felt like home. It is right on the beach and only a couple minutes from downtown, which was super convenient. You have a perfect opportunity to watch the beautiful sunset every night as well right outside your door. It was a great experience!

We've stayed in this property for the past 5 years and it truly is magical. We really lucked out in stumbling upon this place. You are right on the private beach and less than 10 minutes from town. It's the best that South Haven has to offer.
