Charming 3-bedroom cottage with AC, fitness room, WiFi in welcoming Williamsburg

DO NOT BOOK! I booked this condo September 5. Then on October 1, she sent a message and said that the place was no longer available. She took my money and I didn’t have a place to stay on my vacation with my children. I sent her a message immediately requesting my money back on October 9. She has not responded.I didn’t know anything was wrong until I went into VRBO to message her to ask how to enter the property. I even got a confirmation from VRBO about my stay when I booked it and then again when it was time to go to the condo. I would have never known that she canceled the place if I didn’t go to “messages from the owner.” This is extremely disturbing to me. I work very hard for my money and that was a whole week’s pay for me. Not to mention, I had to book it some place more expensive than I could afford because there were not any places available last minute in Williamsburg. So now I’ve paid 2 weeks pay plus some!!!! THIS IS HEARTBREAKING

This listing says cottage but it's an apartment. Be ready to go up stairs to get into it. The kitchen is small but fine. Everything works, but it's not especially well equipped for cooking. The coffee maker does not work. Our checkin was delayed for about 40 minutes when we arrived and we had no where to stay while waiting for our apartment. Wi Fi was very weak in the apartment and TV is like a hotel where there are certain channels available but no way to sign in to your own streaming accounts. The apt was clean, beds were good and master bath very nice. The shower in the second bathroom is old, plus the toilet was leaking and we had to close the valve to the tank or else the floor would have been flooded. Overall I would say it was comfortable except for the lack of Wi Fi and the choices on the TV. The host was nice and available to help.
