Stayed Jul 21, 2024We enjoyed our 2-night stay overall. The place was clean and new with well-maintained appliances and furniture. However, the low beds might be challenging for those with mobility issues. Privacy outdoors is limited due to close neighboring houses. Our interaction with the owners was minimal but slightly disappointing. When our flights were impacted by a global IT issue, we requested flexibility on dates or a partial refund, but they were unwilling to accommodate. While I understand their policy, previous experiences have shown more flexibility in such extraordinary circumstances. Fortunately, our airline managed to rebook our flights, allowing us to still enjoy our planned visit to Ucluelet, which was a pleasant surprise. Despite this, the owners' inflexibility was a downside for us. Although their check in process appears to be seamless, the one slight struggle was their lock. Its not the most intuitive and it can take sometime to figure out. We have interacted many digital ones and have never had trouble.
