The property was convenient, clean and had plenty of space for my family.
The location was perfect, but there were a couple of issues. First, the house is advertised to have 2 queen beds, but it had 2 full beds. Second, when we arrived, there was only 1 bath cloth, so we had to call for more. Anne, responded very quickly with more. Finally, it’s quite obvious they didn’t check the house before we arrived. There were several burnt light bulbs and the house could have been vacuumed. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t freshly cleaned. For the price they charge in fees, the place should’ve been pristine. Having said all of this, none of this would make me shy away from the house. I would still stay here again if I was in the area.
Nice place but cleaning should be more thorough, food under chairs and cushions.
Our son graduated from dental school and we had the opportunity to stay at this charming home. And they were super accommodating!
Came to see a show with some girlfriends at the Bell Auditorium…this was a great, charming old house with everything we needed!
The house was very cute and eclectic! The host was very responsive
While the home itself is beautiful and full of charm, renting it in the dead of winter in subzero temperatures without a working fireplace was a severe and regrettable decision. Repair and plug the chimneys that remained open funneling 11 degree air directly into the guest bedroom. A roaring fire in the main fireplace would have made all the difference.
Very easy
It started out nice. Clean, cute, craftsman cottage. Then the excitement started. The staircase going up to the third bedroom is unlit and steep. We had two people fall down the stairs after we made several comments how careful everybody needs to be. Then, the lights all started flickering in the home light bulbs started popping, a TV in the front bedroom started smoking. The fire alarm was going off we were scurrying around trying to see what was on fire after unplugging the TV and taking it outside the lights continued to pop we turned off everything in the house and we’re just sitting in the front room , the cable box last night burst in the flames we unplugged it, and I turned off every breaker in the breaker box and we accept the home swiftly tried to contact the owner through text on Vrbo. No one ever replied at this time. I don’t even know if the house is still standing . The owners need to spend money fixing multiple electrical problems before they let anyone else stay in that home. It is a fire hazard and I am just grateful our family got out of there alive. I know this sounds a little dramatic but believe me, if you were there, you would’ve said the exact same thing I just did. crazy!
Ms. Anne made the experience great! She was very accommodating and answered all our questions.
We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It was close to everything and was just beautiful! Fantastic restaurants and bars just down the road. The house is spacious with so much charm and character. Will definitely book this again when we are visiting.
The house was clean and was great for all 6 of us. The care taker was fast to respond and was easy to contact.
Absolutely loved this house! Plenty of room and light. Really enjoyed relaxing on the back patio.
Comfortable and charming bungalow. Great manager. Excellent costumer service .
We enjoyed the historical features of this rental house, comfortable furniture, beds and artwork. The house is across the street from a historic fire station and is within driving distance to downtown and medical community. When we arrived, the house had not been thoroughly cleaned and one of the toilets was leaking. The host addressed the leaking toilet immediately which was nice. This house is located on a busy road so be aware there will be significant road noise. The master bedroom is closest to the road. We enjoyed our stay in Augusta especially the great restaurants downtown and the river walk.
