Cedar Shack Cottage with Private Hot Tub - steps to Chesterman Beach

The cottage was easy access to the beach and lovely walks. We had everything we needed and the kitchen was full stocked for everything we needed for cooking and our dinners. The hot tub and sitting area were very private and we had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend staying in the amazing Cedar Shack. Brilliant for a ladies weekend away.

Check in/out was a breeze. The cottage was very clean and had everything we could possibly need to enjoy our stay. We experienced some heavy downpour and the fireplace was amazing to come home too and dry out after a day out. Thank you!!

The cedar shack was cozy and inviting, with every detail for comfort and convenience one could think of. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the neighbourhood quiet, being just a 2 minute walk from the surf. We used the hot tub several times a day. We walked the nearby beaches and enjoyed the town’s restaurants and shops. We’d love to return.

Our stay was wonderful. The rooms were clean, the cottage had nice privacy and the hot tub was a nice bonus! The location was perfect, a nice short walk to the beach! The cottage had everything we needed and we would love to come back in the future!

Didn't use the hot tub. driveway was a bit long but wagon helped.

We were already in Tofino staying at a different resort and decided to stay the weekend. Fortunately, the Cedar Shack was available. It's a cute space - clean, well-appointed and quick walk to Chesterman Beach. Booking, check-in and all communication with the host was great. Only thing to mention is that while the unit is reasonably private, it is located on the owner's property which wasn't clear in the listing. No big deal. Just an FYI.

Incredibly impressed by the accommodation at the Cedar Shack, the attention to detail was amazing… the was absolutely nothing missing that we needed to make our short 3 day stay perfect!! Loved the privacy and the beautiful garden setting…very impressive…we will be sharing this lovely place with all our friends!!

After a day of adventuring it's the perfect spot to warm up and relax. Hot tub is icing on the cake. Being mins to the beach was lovely.

Came out to Tofino for a quick winter getaway and to connect with family. Cedar shack had everything we needed to do that. The beds are on the small size but otherwise it was comfy and clean. We would have appreciated the hot tub being pre- warmed for us as it took an entire day to heat up enough to use.Overall great experience.

This was a great setting for our 3 night romantic winter getaway to Tofino and Pacific Rim National Park. Arriving after a long drive in relentless rain, we were delighted to discover this welcoming little cabin toasty warm, with flameless candles glowing and a dish of Swiss chocolates. Tucked away from the street behind the main house, it’s surrounded by hedges for privacy and green views out every window. Appreciated the fast WiFi and Netflix to cozy up on the sofa next to the gas wood stove. The jacuzzi was fantastic after a walk on the beach (right across the street). Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. 10/10 would stay again.

Four of us stayed for 4 days in October 2024. The VRBO was absolutely perfect with nothing spared. Our host does a fabulous job of taking care of your every wish. Very comfortable and just a minutes walk to the beach. And the weather was unexpected...so warm and sunny mostly. Chesterman Beach is so beautiful. And the whole area is so spectacular. Fabulous wide and paved bike trails from Toffino to Uceulet. Thanks for the memories!!

The Cedar Shack exceeded our expectations. We had such a fun time in Tofino on a couples surf trip. Super clean and perfect little cottage in the best location. Just across the beach is the most beautiful beach walk either direction. Will definitely be back!

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Close to everything we wanted to do and could hear the ocean at night which was a bonus. The little wagon to transport our belongings was very handy. Hot tub was perfect after a long day of exploring all the different beaches. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location close to south Chesterman's beach. The property was as described and very clean. Guests should be aware that there is a large construction site directly behind the property. We could wave to the construction workers from the kitchen window while having our coffee. It significantly reduces the privacy of the property and while construction didn't start before 9 AM it was quiet noisy and at one point the entire building shook as the construction equipment moved cross the site.
