Worst Rental Experience, mostly because of Prop Manager: 1. PM didn't respond to msgs on website until multiple emails, and sometimes, never responded 2. I switched to text msgs which was barely better, and then after 10 days PM said comms only on vrbo 3. Dryer and furnace did not work, and promised twice in two weeks to fix them...never did 4. My trip to Prescott was delayed due to Hurricane Ian (I'm moving from Florida), and PM tried to charge me a 50% change fee when it did not affect any other rentals 5. The neighborhood is horrible, and I felt VERY unsafe!! Cars racing up the street at all hours, people talking outside at all hours, dogs barking at all hours, several homeless people walking the area regularly 6. I tried to extend my stay only for convenience since I'm traveling with two dogs...I really didn't want to, but it made sense with dogs. PM told me for a week it should be no problem, and then at the last minute said I could not extend because he got renters at a higher rate...it's clear that greed drives the PM and his team. 7. With 4 days left in the rental, I got a loud knock on the door at 9pm...it was a couple who said they had rented the property starting that day. They never showed again but dealing with this PM it did not surprise me. 8. PM did not know how to use the vrbo website since he never populated the field about access to the property or the wifi password. It took several prompts from me to get the access code and wifi password, and then he gave me the wrong wifi password. Only after trying variations of the pw he gave me did I get into the wifi. In summary, Prescott is a great place to visit/live, but this property, PM and neighborhood were a disaster, at best. The place was relatively clean except the furniture and rugs needed a serious cleaning...very gross! I would never consider staying at this property again!
