Stayed Mar 19, 2021We enjoyed our stay very much. Very nice owner. Loved the history of the place. My only two suggestions would be to have hotter water in the shower and the hot tub.

Stayed Feb 15, 2025My wife and I stayed one night and as a hobby wood worker I can't say enough about what a pleasure it was to stay at Carriage House. The timber frame structure was beautiful, the custom cabinets and trim were impeccable, and the gazebo that housed the hot tub has to been seen to be appreciated. Ladies, if your man likes to work with wood this is a place they've got to see.

Stayed Aug 30, 2021We had a great experience staying at the Carriage House. I highly recommend the Double Musky, though all of the restaurants in Girdwood were excellent. If you want to go hiking and spot moose, just keep driving north on Crow Creek Road. There are many trails that branch off of the road. I would recommend getting a moose horn, bear spray if you want to hike, we also saw mountain lion tracks.. We saw moose cross the road as we were driving, drive with caution.
