BVR 66 - Buddy's Bungalow by Liquid Life

Property was clean and modern. Lazy river was a great place to come back to and cool off. Beach shuttle made it easy to get back and forth to the beach!

This was our first time to Orange Beach, but we would return and stay here again. I wanted to stay in a house instead of a high-rise condo for convenience, and it did not disappoint! PROs - Parking feet from door, although spots are short, our tailgate and hitch stuck out in road - Awesome pool and cabana - Comfy beds w/lots of pillows - Great cooling unit - Laundry upstairs (but washer is loud) CONs: - Wifi was weak, fear this would be worse during the busy seasons. - I could not locate a listing of details on VRBO or the app shared with us upon booking on exactly what was included in the unit. - The kitchen staples are minimal. This was the first place I have stayed that did not have any kitchen staples like salt/pepper, flour, sugar, basic seasonings, oil, etc. They do have all the cups, plates, silverware, knives, and kitchen gadgets. - Water pressure is awful - No seat/foot shelf in shower - No clocks anywhere in the unit or pool. - Lights at night lit up the unit (even with the shades closed) like it is daylight. - Master bed has awkward sideboards that hurt the back of your legs when getting in and out. The last thing I will mention are the plugins. They are plentiful throughout the unit, but some are in odd places. We had to crawl under the master bed to get to the plug that is awkwardly behind the bed (too heavy to scoot from the wall). General travel - beach parking fees are about $15/day; set up navigation to avoid tolls ($5 bridge toll upon arrival)

The kids spent practically the entire day at the pool, which was secure and safe. They had so much fun that we almost missed visiting the beach.

The cottage itself was perfectly cleaned and was set up nicely for our family of 6(kids ages ranging from 9 years old to 10 months). The pool area!!!!!!! The pool area is where it’s at if you have small children. We loved our nightly swims!! The beach is not far from the property but the walk is on a busy highway. A golf cart would be beneficial. We were nervous walking it with our 4 children. If beach service could be provided that would be amazing because carrying all your beach stuff and kids on that highway is alot. Let me say this it didn’t take away from our trip in anyway. It was a short annoyance we had to endure for all the other joys we experienced during this trip!!! My sister had a Polaroid camera sent to our cottage and the property manager delivered it to us no problems!! He even told me how she was excited about this and for us to enjoy! I would have loved to stay longer as well as all 4 of my kids!! We are planning on rebooking next summer with friends here because of how perfect it is for families!! Also looking into going in October for the kids fall break. Wonderful memories were made and I will cherish them forever!!! Thank you so much!!!❤️❤️❤️

The house provided all the necessities like home. Comfortable furnishings and the beds were comfortable as well. The trundle under the king bed was a plus when traveling with young kids! The house even had some extra blankets which came in handy as a cold front came through while we were there. One thing the house lacks is good cable/satellite television. The television offers the option to login to certain providers, but not everyone wants to use their personal login information. The pool area was perfect with ample seating and a great mix of music genres playing on speakers. Loved being in a gated community! Buddy's Bungalow gave us access to our own parking and no elevators to wait on like you do in busy condominiums! Ideal for families with kids of all ages. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to coming back in the future!

This is a great location for groups that want to stay together but have their separate space.

The actual stay was great. Pool was awesome, beach is so close, great food around, and property was very nice. I took a star away because it could be better with a few minor changes. Better toilet paper, body wash, towels-including pool towels. For the price I don't want to bring my own tp. I have faith this property will figure it out as it's still very new.
