Breathtaking Mountain View, Close to Everything yet tucked away in the woods.

Everything was perfect. The home had everything we needed. Location was terrific, and except for the absence of bears, it was a great few days

This was a great place for my two adult children, two dogs, and me to spend time in a quiet but conveniently located home. Very clean with everything we needed in the kitchen, baths, and bedrooms. Plus Internet and TV when we needed to connect. Lindsay was very communicative and helpful from start to finish. The location is great - secluded enough on the side of a mountain (with views of the Blue Ridge) yet close enough to “civilization” when we needed to pop out for a bite. Everyone enjoyed their stay - dogs included!

We had a great stay. 2 Adults and 2 kids. The kids loved the loft. The beds were comfortable and the house was nicely appointed. Amazing views from the deck and the main family room area. The location was great. You felt like you were deep in the mountains but were only 15-20 minutes (easy drive) into downtown Asheville. Would definitely stay again.

Cabin was very cozy! Secluded from main roads and perfect location. 10 min to downtown Asheville! Saw a huge bear on Rice Rd which is one of main streets to the house ! So exciting, so huge !! Husband brought his guitar and was in his element! Pet friendly and very accommodating for my fur babies.

Lovely stay ..it was short and sweet!! Excellent location and cabin in the woods..Loved the Host response at all times.Thank you for lovely hosting . We will plan and visit for longer nights next time

House was clean and tidy when we arrived. All essentials were provided. Communication was easy, we had an issue with the tv. Host was very responsive and offered to help with issue but we declined as it wasn't a big deal to us. We seen a bear while sitting on the deck on our second day which was amazing! Location was convenient to restaurants and stores. The road to house is pretty rough, but expected due to location. There are several houses around the house we stayed in. Trees gave privacy, however houses are pretty close together. It is a VERY busy road. I believe 2 houses are past the one we stayed in and the neighbors dog continuously barked throughout our stay. We did bring our dog with us but he's not much of a barker, so didnt bother him, just be aware there are several dogs around the area that bark a lot. Yard looked like some trees had fallen down and a lot of bushes/trees had grown up around the property. The fire pit was falling apart and area around it was grown up as well so that was a little disappointing. Overall we had a great stay and host was super sweet. Just wish the pictures on the listing were more up to date with current state of property. If you're looking for complete seclusion and quiet this isn't the place for you. Great location in regards to being close to several restaurants and stores.

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. We actually stayed 2 back to back weekends and I am so glad we did. This house really has it all. The owners are super nice and available if needed. This house is a great stay for a small family or a couple or two. The house is beautiful and has a breathtaking view. The beds sleep great and the bathrooms are a good size. The two bathrooms are downstairs along with one bedroom. The loft has plenty of room for a few people. Overall, I plan to stay here again.

We were especially impressed with the cleanliness, the location close to town (15 min. from Asheville and 5 min, form Blue Ridge Parkway) and the view of the mountains. We had 2 little dogs so we brought our own sheets to put on the bed so can't comment on sheets but the mattress was comfortable. We chose this place for the view and not to far from town and it was as expected. Good location and nice view and very private. Just what we were looking for because of the dogs also. The grounds has good space to let the dogs run around a bit. They loved it. The roads were great until you got to the private road that the house is located on. It needs some attention. You have to go very slow to avoid deep pot holes but we managed. I'm glad we were driving my husband's Honda Passport. Could be a bit challenging for a car.

Great place to stay with amazing views of the mountains and so close to town. We had an amazing time staying here. So close to the blue ridge parkway and downtown Asheville. The house was so clean, orangized and had everything h we needed for our week long stay. The host Lindsay was great with communication and recommendations. We look forward to returning in the future.

Very happy with our stay. Nice view from the deck. Clean rental. Good host communication. Fair price. A few tips for future renters: the driveway is steep and not easy to find, but any car can make it. Take your time on Fox Den, there are some large pot-holes near the bottom of the hill. The rental is on the second level. We did not see any bears. The house is in a very quiet spot in the woods, but a short drive to downtown Asheville. Perfect combination for a peaceful weekend.
