Stayed Nov 27, 2024Our stay at the cottage was perfect in every way! The place is immaculate and beautifully furnished, wonderful view and quiet & safe neighborhood, the price was reasonable, parking was in a locked garage, there’s everything you could possibly need in a short walking distance, and there were plentiful bathroom, bedroom, kitchen supplies. There’s even a full kitchen and a pull-out sofa bed. We’ll definitely be back again.

Stayed Jul 26, 2025We would recommend you check all amenities as soon as arriving. We did not have internet or television services for 2 days because it was the weekend. Nice location, but the outside walks could use some TLC.

Stayed Jul 5, 2025The unit was nice and modern with a bright environment. The kitchen has a nice refrigerator, stove, sink, and dishwasher. The bathroom and shower were nice and clean. Parking is a covered garage accessed from the alley but it is very tight. We had a Ford Fusion and it was difficult to maneuver to park. Before we checked in, they called and said it needed things fixed/some maintenance and asked when was a good time to come by. I said that we would be out most of the day and anytime therein would be fine. But some maintenance turned out to be a very loose kitchen faucet, the towel rack in the bathroom was pulling out of the wall, the bedroom closet doors were off the track and falling out, and there was a large stain on the couch, and you couldn't open the gate because it didn't have a string to pull the latch. And so, they came in while we were out, really not a big deal. BUT, they left the door unlocked, which was a big deal since all of our things were now unsecured. Speaking of the door, the lock is very finicky and difficult to operate even with the confusing instructions posted. But, the biggest thing we didn't like were the sheets. They were very low quality/thread count. They were so bad that we both had fabric burns after three days. Honestly, I've had better sheets at cheap highway hotels. The sheets I had in basic training were better. Those sheets were just terrible. With the totality of the issues we had, we ended our vacation two days early. My recommendation to the owner/operator is to have the maintenance done without a tenant, trim the tree branches blocking the walkway, fix the loose stepping stones, pull the weeds, clean the furniture, and provide decent sheets (they really were terrible).

Stayed May 28, 2025As two college friends visiting a third friend in Seattle, the space and location of the cottage was perfect for our us. The cottage is attractive, updated, and comfortable. It's within walking distance to the Village in Magnolia and close to downtown Seattle. I wish I could give it five stars, but we had a maintenance issue (clogged shower drain) that was not addressed during our five night stay, despite being assured that they were working on it. It was unsanitary and unsafe to shower while standing in an inch of soapy slippery water, but there was no sense of urgency to rectify the issue while we were there. This was likely more the fault of the management company (Vacasa) and not the homeowner. Hopefully, this issue has been resolved for future guests because the property is lovely otherwise. (Side note: we were given financial compensation for our inconvenience, but we really would have preferred that they address the issue.)

Stayed Apr 28, 2025The cottage was clean and modern located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. It was an easy check-in process; in addition, the cottage has a one-car garage, so parking was not an issue. The decor was organic, cohesive, very 'Crate & Barrel'; the cottage had several large windows giving the place a diaphanous and serene feel. Magnolia Court was near coffee shops, local restaurants and Trader Joes. The Kitchen was modern with a five-burner stove- everything was bright and clean, overall, it was an enjoyable stay.
