Stayed Jun 27, 2024This apartment in Boulogne is gorgeous - lovely modern and comfortable refurbishment of a beautiful old building. Laurence was there to meet us and made all the arrangements really easy for us - we were able to arrange to have our daughter to stay for a night too. Would highly recommend and definitely stay there again. Local restaurant Le Chatillon in the heart of the working harbour also a real highlight.

Stayed Aug 28, 2022We spent a lovely few days in Boulogne. The location in the old town is so pretty with nice restaurants a 2 minute walk away. Lovely beach about a 20 minute walk away. The gite has a well stocked kitchen except there was no bread knife so hard to cut our fresh baguettes! My only complaint was we could not access the gite until 5.30pm which is quite late as my other rentals have been from 3pm. In the gite description it says access from 4pm and departure at 11am but we had to be out by 10am. Other than that it is a lovely place to stay with a friendly owner.

Stayed Oct 11, 2018Stayed here for 4 nights and could not have found any better accommodation. Booking process and dealing with owners was very easy. The house is very well equipped and scrupulously clean. It was a delight cooking in the kitchen as there were plenty of pots and pans. Eating out is so easy too as the house is situated in the Old Town where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Wandering around the market on Saturday morning is a must and we bought some fantastic crusty bread to have with a baked Camembert and the spit roasted chicken from the van opposite (divine). Stayed Aug 4, 2018We have just returned from a wonderful week in this beautiful gite. The owners were incredibly helpful both prior to and during our stay. We have 3 children & there was plenty of space for us all - they loved sleeping under the eaves & drawing in the snug study area. The gite was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We didn’t want to go home! We would recommend visiting the nearby cathedral, crypt & castle and the many lovely restaurants and creperies just around the corner. Thank you so much for such a memorable holiday.
