Pretty view and the sunsets were gorgeous. Towels and linens were clean and nicely presented. The kitchen was not stocked with useable cookware. Everything was old or broken. Glad we know how to use a french press. We had to go buy our own lobster pot and utensils. There was no TV or cd player. We like to read but kids might not appreciate this. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would probably not go back due to the condition of the kitchen amenities. Made cooking impossible.

Great location. Lots of places to hike and to watch the ocean. Clean quiet cottage. Many artists display in the area. Good places to dine in Damarascotta.

When we sought a property for our trip, we looked specifically for a place that had two bathrooms as well as a television (for better or worse, it fills the gaps at the end of the day). This property does not have those and even after I mentioned this, no changes to the listing have happened. The location of the property is terrific, the screened deck was a pleasure and the communication was very good but only one of the beds was of a high standard. My mother stayed in the room with two beds and each one had some issues for her. I can respect that some of these issues might have no concern for people who might stay here but the incorrect list of amenities affected our trip.

Janet was very helpful and accommodating as we stayed in her cottage while moving into our new house. When our furniture was delayed she let us stay extra days. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. Thank you.

Very comfortable house, we could tell it is well loved as the owners vacation home. We used this location to explore SCUBA diving in mid coast Maine.

This cottage is in a great location, a few minutes from the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse and the little restaurant, ice cream shop, and gift shop, plus a gallery filled with reasonably priced art. It's not far from Round Pond and Damariscotta. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and you can walk to the Point from the cottage. The large deck gets sun nearly all day and affords a view of the sunset over the water. Janet has lovely gardens, filled with hydrangea, black eyed Susan, phlox, autumn clematis, etc. There is one bathroom and an outside shower. A big screened porch and cozy living room. The queen size bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on. We were incredibly lucky to have perfect weather every one of the 5 days we were there. We took the boat to Monhegan, had lobster at Pemaquid Seafood, and dinner at The Bradley Inn, and we drove up to McLoon's in South Thomaston for a lobster roll. Blue Moon was a perfect choice!

Janet is the most gracious hostess and the house was lovely. The beds were extremely comfortable, the furnishings cozy and the deck and porch were perfect for lounging in the sea breeze. The outdoor shower and ability to explore the tide pools just down the banking were our favorite parts; right behind the quick walk to the light house, which made our stay and explorations so convenient and relaxing.
