Blue Heron Cottage - Anna Maria Island

The cottage was perfect for us. Clean and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to shops and restaurants. Host is friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing quiet beach get away and The Blue Herron Cottage did not disappoint. House was very clean with nice appliances. Gustavo was very quick to respond if we had questions. Loved we could just walk down the street and be on the beach. We saw the most amazing sunset on Bean Point. We also loved the beach supplies - buggy, beach chairs, umbrella - we used them everyday. We will definitely be back!! AMI is such a charming town (it was our first time). We fell in love with it - lovely soft white sand, clear water and not too crowded at the beach by the house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Heron. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable bedding, and totally refurbished and clean! The house was well stocked with essentials, there was a sweet outdoor area to sit in the sun and an outdoor shower! Loved the location- close to Bean Point and also Pine Street. Great restaurants- ate at The Waterfront and the Sandbar. Both fabulous with great views. Anna Maria Island has beautiful beaches. We loved renting a golf cart to get around. Can't wait to come back.

We loved our stay in Anna Maria. The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. Being able to walk 3 blocks straight to Bean Point was the highlight !

The Blue Heron is perfect for us - the size, the location, the amenities, the cleanliness, the mattress , etc. Love it!!

We had a great time at this property. It was nicely located from the beach with just a short walk. We enjoyed the use of the beach cart, chairs, umbrella etc. as well! It was nice to have an outdoor shower after being at the beach all day and it was great to have use of the patio. (Nice and peaceful) However, we do wish that the pull out couch was more comfortable. Our daughter had a hard time falling asleep on it. We tried to make it more comfortable. In addition, it was nice to have the two bathrooms but if you are traveling with children; the main bedroom does not have a shower. (Only a 1/2 bath) The full bath is located off the kitchen/living room. It worked out just fine for us but it may not work for some small families. Overall, this was a great property and we would stay here again. It was a nice, quiet place to spend a relaxing beach vacation.

The place was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very close to where r friends were.

Property was well maintained and communication with Gustavo was quick.

Thoroughly enjoyed our state. The place was absolutely perfect for what we wanted to do which was just hang out and go to the beach and eat some good food. Would highly recommend this place and we definitely intend to go back. About three blocks to an absolutely gorgeous beach! Chairs, umbrella and wagon perfect and everything was a great shape.

Wonderful cottage with everything we needed for a relaxing get away. Gustavo is a wonderful host and we look forward to returning!
