Beautifully presented dog friendly - College Cottage

We stayed at the cottage for a long weekend. A great find. Full of character, beautifully presented and tucked away a few steps from the high street with its cafes and bars so incredibly well positioned. Lots to do and plenty of beautiful pubs and restaurants nearby. The host was available on WhatsApp and answered any questions we had immediately. Loved our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was perfect for a weekend away at Christmas and we had everything we needed. Neil was a fantastic host, very accommodating and helpful with any requests. We highly recommend staying here and had a fantastic trip. Thank you!

Very nice house in a great location in the middle of Burford High Street. Very clean, well furnished with lots of nice touches. Communication with the owner Neil was excellent. Left nice gifts of flowers, chocolates and well stocked for tea, coffee , biscuits. I can thoroughly Recommend.

From the moment I stepped into College Cottage I was blown away... By the charm of the beautiful building, the tasteful decor throughout, and the surprise of the thoughtful flowers and treats that Neil provided for my stay. I felt absolutely spoilt, I have never experienced such customer attentiveness from a holiday stay before. I travelled from Australia to explore the Cotswolds for a week, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to wake up in and come back to every afternoon. It was warm, cozy, charming, and that bath!!! What a treat! Thank you Neil for everything; my stay at College Cottage truly made my visit to the Cotswolds absolutely magical, I couldn't have asked for a better holiday accommodation. I can't wait to visit again someday, I will definitely be back!

What an amazing property, perfect location, being right on the main street through the area, immaculately presented, tip top cleanliness, very comfortable beds, we were even left some generous gifts when we arrived. A very sweet gesture indeed. A wonderful array of shops await you outside, along with pleasant walks nearby, afterwards a plethora of places to eat, all serving excellent produce. Exceptional all round.

We had a wonderful stay at The College Cottage in Burford. The service was amazing and communication throughout was excellent, everything we needed was provided and thoughtfully arranged. The location couldn’t be more perfect, right in the heart of Burford yet peaceful and charming. We’d definitely recommend staying here and would love to return in the future!

We absolutely adored our stay at College Cottage ❤️ It was the perfect base for exploring our favourite town, Burford, and we had the most fabulous time. The customer service was exceptional—when we asked for an early check-in after leaving our previous hotel post-wedding, they agreed without hesitation. Upon arrival, we were blown away by the thoughtful welcome gifts: beautiful flowers, whisky, wine, and more! It was such a lovely surprise and made us feel truly celebrated. We felt completely pampered and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Location is prime, customer service is next to none, and quality of the cottage is amazing. Highly recommend to anyone travelling to Burford! We will be back A&C

My dad and I stayed hear spontaneously, only booking the day we stayed! Omg the house was fabulous, nipping clean and just a perfect location. We were left treats, fizzy, beautiful toiletries and a brilliant service from Neil who was on hand for all the information! The house its self was so tasteful and so comfortable. I will definitely stay again only next time I need way longer. 100 percent recommend and thank you for everything you done for us stay Cotswolds!

Thoroughly enjoyed a stay here with the other half. The host was very accommodating and always available on the phone if we had any questions. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped, made it a real home from home. Will be sure to book again.

College Cottage exceeded our already high expectations from the description on the website. The cottage is dreamy and our escape started as soon as we turned down the medieval alley. We were welcomed with a very kind and generous welcome gifts. Neil thought of everything to ensure we enjoyed our stay and sent us a lovely message to ensure we were all set for a special stay. We immediately opened the wine and put our feet up on the comfy sofas with our hamper. The cottage is exquisitely decorated throughout. There were so many unique touches in keeping with the charm of the Cotswolds. The kitchen had absolutely everything you need to cook. I can imagine returning to the cottage in the winter and cooking cosy dinners. There was also a small courtyard with a BBQ. The real wow factor was the master bedroom with a stunning copper slipper bath. Perfect way to unwind after a busy day with bath bombs and relaxation products also gifted. The attic room was also absolutely charming with beams exposed throughout the cottage. Enjoyed blissful sleep and really was a perfect home to enjoy. Burford is a lovely bustling medieval town with interesting shops, an irresistible patisserie and excellent pubs and restaurants. We can highly recommend the Royal Oak and the Spice Lounge. There are walks from the doorstep and a short distance from the Farmers Dog, Blenheim Palace and Oxford. We chose it as a perfect base to explore the Cotswolds. Finally thank you so much to Neil who also gave us a wonderful gift to remember our stay and something to treasure.
